The Bodybuilders Thread: Circuit II

Left knee was giving me hassles when squatting this morning so I had to cut that short.

Which sucks because I was really looking forward to a good leg session - but apparently my knee has other ideas.

Does you knee hurt on the leg press as well?

Have a guy in the gym who sqauds insanely heavy, but prefers to do leg press and leg extentions and lying leg curls rather due to rugby knee injuries

Leg press kills my left knee - but squatting is usually fine.

I did a little leg press the other day which is why I suspect my knee is giving issues today.

Guys anyone else immune to pre workout?

I remember taking it two years ago. Tried some ssn brand and noxplode. No effect.

Told the guy at dischem and he said try this.

Bought the biogen extra pump. Took 25g on an empty stomach, no effect at all. ...

Also maybe try stacking your PWOs. I stack the Berserker with the Nutritech VasoNO3. Works quite well.

I miss the old Nutritech one that they took off the market. Can't remember the name, but it still had the warning that it contained banned substances.
That gave me insane focus and energy. I would still be feeling it well after my workouts - to the point of sometimes battling to fall asleep. I have tried many PWO's since then, and none compare.

I drink what 8 - 12 cups of coffee per day for the past I don't know how many years. It does not affect my body anymore.

Now if I miss a cup then I literally feel like dying I'll get nauseous, headaches etc.

In otherwords I have a legitimate caffeine addiction and I am not sure how to stop without dying.

It's terrible since coffee is quite expensive nowadays.

Do not, I repeat, DO NOT go cold turkey.

Ease yourself off of caffeine if you want to "reset" your receptors.

Seriously I did a 2 week sabbatical and actually had to phone in sick the one day the headaches were so bad. Then there was also the stuffy sinuses and fatigue.

Strange. I LIVE on coffee. 6 tot 8 cups a day, filter coffee. Weekends, not so much, or actually, nothing at all. No time really. Zero ill effects
