Nope - just severe joint pain - elbows. Only started this week, and its been fine this year, had it last year and the previous year, only thing I've changed is creatine this week.

So a 20kg plate fell on my big toe. Broke the tip of the bone off and also caused some nasty bleeding damage (needed stitches etc). It's so stupid how it happened as well, there were a lot of plates on the legpress and I was removing the last plate, while I was pulling it towards me I looked away and didn't notice that there is almost no 'rod' left...BAM.

Stay safe lads =)

Wow - that does not sound pleasant!

Walking around must be lots of fun for you at the moment...

Like the guys have said, there is normally no need for roids, you can achieve fantastic results naturally by eating right, resting and working hard, there is no substitute for those three things.

If you are not seeing gains, you are doing something wrong, juicing is not giong to fix that, yes it will help you grow, yes you will see strength gains but at the end whatever you are doing wrong will show when you finish your cycle.

I missed a couple weeks of gym and one of the guys I see there rather often that got big really quickly has shrunk just as quickly, very noticeable. You dont want to be that guy ;)
I agree yeah, I look at guys like Nick Wright and he's massive imo, he has 18 inch arms.

That is a good attitude InternetSwag. The problem with roids is it boost your power so much that you might end up pushing 70% heavier than before- but the white and soft tissues and ligaments around your muscles are not used to the heavier weight, and something must give in or collapse- and that is where injury comes in. In Afrikaans: Iets moet meegee.

You should be a regular attendee to the gym for at least a year, with body fat around 12 - 15% to experience the most out of a cycle.

All steroids are medicine and most were designed to treat people first(like people experiencing weight-loss from aids, burned victims that experiencing muscle loss etc) and it is the high dosages that bbuilders use that gave it a bad name. That is where the abuse comes in.

I believe there is a place for it if you do your homework and depending on your goals, but I don't agree with the high dosages on all the forums. And it is definitely not a quick fix.

The part after the cycle is called PCT, or Post Cycle Therapy. This is more important than most guys recognize as this needs to kick start your nut factory again and ease you out of your all high Test boost, gradually. Your Test factory slows down a bit while on cycle as there are too many free flowing Testosterone, so they take a bit of a break. That is the only thing that might shrink while on cycle - your nutsack. Because they don't need to work.

The PCT flips the switch back on again and will boost your natural Test levels to maximize again. But guys who abused the dosages on cycle sometimes have problems switching back on again, and they might need to do a 2nd PCT. But that is only because of the abuse. This will lead to Erectile dysfunction.

Safe dosages are key. Lee Priest was in SA about two to three years ago and he said in the Muscle Evolution that some of the SA okes asked him what he uses and at what dosages. He said he is using Deca and Testosterone Cypionate, and the dosages he mentioned (cant remember exactly) was only half or less of what is suggested on some forums. They guys said he is full of "sh*t" and he explicitly stated that he doesn't have anything to gain by lying to them. I believe him. Schwarzenegger and them all used very moderate dosages.

I actually heard that a lot of steroids are bunk or watered down, hence the high dosage spiral. But hearing things like that actually puts me off of roids a lot, I want to know what I'm putting in my body 100%, so probably even better to try and get pharmacy grade stuff.

I heard of PCT before, things like Nolvadex. But apparently you are very depressed on PCT. Yet another thing that adds to the reasons I'd rather stay natty for a long time.

I actually benched 100kg today!

At college, we had to determine our 1RM and then use a formula to create working loads at 85% of that or w/e.

I saw a couple of guys benching and I got so amped up seeing people do 1 rep maxes, my heart rate actually got elevated! I got so amped up I just wanted to bench!!!

I warmed up a little with just the bar, did 70kg - felt kinda heavy so I was wondering if I'd even hit 90kg.

But I was so psyched up I was actually shaking, I mean 100kg was my goal for the year.

I dropped down, slammed my back into the padding a bit to get into the zone and just pushed, did it with good form too! I grunted really loudly though, completely involuntarily, right arm went up slower than left but I got it. So I am happy.

Went for 110 after that lol - due to classmates pressuring me, got it off the chest, but couldn't get my elbows past my body to lock out - oh well I was so excited after doing 100kg.

I had one of my college friends take a video, but the college has different sized 20kg plates so it looks like I am doing 80kg. But I'll record it with proper plates next time, even showing the plates!

But also hurt my elbow after college :( banged it against a table and it still hurts.

Guy I used to work with was a amateur bodybuilder and he told me this exact thing. You get too strong too quick, and your joints and ligaments are just not strong enough to keep up.

Yup, if you end up with a bust knee or elbow or shoulder, you'll forever be sorry.

Inb4 it looks like 80kg

If you're wondering why the college gym has different sizes 20kg plates, its cause they bought new ones, but still had older ones. The big 20kg looks massive, the smaller one actually has handles, but is also 20kg.

Mmm now that I look at it, are my hands too close together? (doesn't that make it harder though?)

Side note: the guy standing behind me can bench 130kg and he's 18 years old.

That dude touched the bar. He shouldn't have touched the bar ;P :p[

Damn - don't think I can bench that fast without hurting something :p Age is a bitch.

how is your shoulder still functional after that bench
Looool idk? Was that bad? Oddly enough chest flies hurt my shoulders more than anything else ever has

Hahaha, passing some of his godlike genes to me, srsly some of the guys at my college have treetrunk arms. Hmm IIRC don't you as well? :D

I need to get into the gym again, had to lay off since July because of a hectic work program... I feel so flat, eish.

Happened me at the leg press too. Someone before me didnt rack the plate properly. I just touched it, and it fell off, and onto my toe.

Wasn't too high, and the plate had a nice rubber wrap, so injury wasn't too bad.

Done it too - but hit the floor and smacked my shin, was taking two 20's off and didn't have a grip on the second one.

They don't look evenly spaced but they're not close.
Bar lowered without control, bounced off chest... I'd guess if you paused at the bottom that'd be the end of the rep... lighten the weight until you can control the movement.

Im not sure, but I dont think its because of age that he bench that fast. Me and a buddy at the exact same age, bench very differently. He goes at it fast, and I go at it slow, probably like you. We both have very different body types though...so I wrote if off as that.
