You're a big guy though hey? 5000 calories of clean food must kill the wallet! I'm on just over 3000 on lifting days and drop to 2500 or sometimes less with lower carbs on off days. That already costs me a crapload on chicken, steak and shakes. It's a healthy hobby and at least I'm not spending it on booze so its worth it.
Yeh - sitting at 95kg now and 14% body fat (1.87m) - but I'm tired of weight loss. I've slowly been adding carbs back into my diet, and should be good to go by the end of the month.
My maximum calories for the entire year has been 2600 - the last three months has been around 2300 with no carbs. Even with this, our grocery bill (for two) is around R6000 without supplements.
R-E-A-L-L-Y looking forward to hitting the gym mid October with the ramped up food, its been tough making zero progress, in fact - I've lost quite a bit of strength this year - end of the month I go on honeymoon for two weeks, so when I come back, my body will be fully rested.
I'm also doing quite a bit of cardio - I want to be able to run 5km in under 20min by the end of next year, and deadlift over 300kg. Those are my targets, I don't have squat or bench target, squat, my knees give me grieve, and my hip is buggered. Bench, if I skip a work out or two, I loose a ton of strength, so sorta given up making decent gains.
