The Brexit Thread

They're not sold as "probabilities", they're sold as irrefutable fact.
and the leave "lies" are also backed by financial data, it means nothing
Since Brexit hasn't happened yet, how do you know they are not hard fact? A lot of those claims have still to be tested. Unless you went into the future and checked that is?

And a lot of the leave BS was dropped as claims as soon as the vote was finished. They didn't even a day to read up

There was a refendum. Majority voted to leave. I voted to remain. Leave won. I accepted that.

Then the Tories fu#### up. They called an early general election. T

Tories lost their majority. They blame May for that. But look back and see who supported, if not prompted her, in calling the early election. The leave clique.

UKIP got wiped out. Voters who where complacent during the referendum got a fright and put more MP's in Parliament who where against leaving, especially leaving ala hard Brexit.

What a colossal F-UP. Man, the people who voted Leave have been lied to. If you really think that the UK can lose GBP 800 billion worth of the banks business and still come out better for it, then I have no words.

That is a lot of jobs lost - all because some old Brits decided the Polish had to go home.
Why do you describe the Brits involved as 'old'. Are you being ageist?

Read your question slowly a couple of times and the answer will reveal itself.

... hint: for the same reason I cannot claim it is impossible, the bremoan camp cannot claim it is certain, QED
No. You are claiming it is lies with no data at all. Just your "feels" . That's the distinction

The older people get the more conservative they tend to get, at least in my experience. Would make sense that many leavers would be older.

That and some of them would have fond memories of the UK of old when it wasn't part of the EU...

LMFAO!

Dave still stuck on his pipecdream of a second referendum?

:ROFL::ROFL::ROFL:

Where have I given any personal opinion of preference on that, genius?

Last time you dribbled crap all over the thread you couldn’t show it either...

But if you really want to know, I don’t think a 2nd referendum is the most likely outcome of the current process.

Now why don’t you go get your khaki safari suit on and go worry about something more relevant to you...

Because it’s true, the old were more likely to be leavers.

So it WAS a poll. As my vote was secret, the pollsters did not know how I voted. In exit polls I always lie. The Conservatives went to the polls on the basis of 'favourable' opinion polls - and lost. This is not unique. You cannpt rely on opinion polls. So you have no idea of how the undefined 'old' voted.
One of my friends was verbally assaulted by a nephew for voting in favour of Brexit. He had voted stay in fact. Of such wishful thinking are myths made.

Apart from anything else, why would you expect the 'young' to know better in such matters? Do you do what the children tell you to?

I'm not the constantly hoping for a second referendum. Even your post above indicates how people would vote if there is a second referendum...

Keep on dreaming Davey boy :D

Has anyone ever called you an idiot in the past?

You know, I really don’t think you are as dumb as you sometimes portray yourself.

I posted 2 separate graphs showing voting intentions by age group in answer to another post.

Tell you what, you quote the part of the post where I say I hope for a second referendum.

I’ll wait..............

So not in the whole thread? Just that post?
Care to share the source of those graphs? I have a funny feeling you were selective in your choosing them.
