For 80kms range yes. For a full ev it needs to be more, probably around 450 comfortably.Does it have to be a PHEV?
Why not buy a Nissan leaf off webuycars for R150k that also does 80km?
All you have to do it replace the battery for R150k and increase range to 300km. The only spanner is the plug type (not ccs), too hammered to remember what its called.
