Where can one get Jack Haze? Been looking all over but nobody's got stock.
 
I feel like I need to comment on the fancy strain names that sellers use in advertising.

This schit works on the average or the new smoker, but for the connoisseur this is not the case.

Take your strain name with a pinch of salt.I was very lucky to come upon the original White widow about 10 years ago.Compared to the 'WW' of today, well there isnt any comparison to be honest.Its total chalk and cheese.

I ordered about 15 strains from a person(pvt) and well I got 5 strains at most packaged into different bags with different labels.

So you are going to have an incredibly hard time finding a specific strain that is indeed real if you do not know someone who grows it out with seeds that were sourced from overseas.

Most of our stuff comes from Lesotho and Swaziland.I have seen some of these operations and the problem is not that they do not have great plants and good genetics, but rather the drying,storing and transporting that degrades the final product.

So if you come across someone saying they have this or that strain, its probably bullschit unless you can verify the genetic lineage.

Just hang tight gents, once the legislation around selling dagga is formalised the days of ordering Purple Kush and getting something harvested from under a farmer's diesel-tanks are over.

I have given up on getting specifics from my local weedman. I just message him asking for R500's worth of Straatvalk, the name I dubbed the heads he sells.

I heard on the radio this morning that a lawyer said there is no plans to allow people to sell. If you want to use it you must grow your own in your private garden.

I think that would be in contravention of the Constitutional Court ruling, which did state that legislation needs to be drafted that supports the private use of cannabis.

That came out of the concourt ruling, according to the lawyer.

Yep, now I can plan my perfect hydro system.Problem is still getting seeds in from overseas.

Im not convinced of GreenSmokeRoom.

Dinafem seems amazing, maybe if it comes in official packaging :)

AmaDeadly seeds is a local breeded, his strains look amazing.I think he probably got proper genetics from overseas and then started crossing them locally which is damn awesome.

One can extrapolate on whats going to happen with logic.

If people are allowed to grow at home, they must be able to buy seeds locally and safely. What about the folks who dont want to or cant grow at home but would like to smoke? This will likely drive the relevant legislature around being able to buy weed from licensed sellers. Its about impossible to avoid this and the government will see $$$ regarding the tax it would generate.

Next thing is coffee shops, for the adults who cant smoke at home because of various reasons but would like to enjoy it in a private space. Cannabis Coffee shops with smoking booths and a license to sell will pop up everywhere.

Right now, selling is illegal, selling seeds is illegal, but both have been happening for some time online without much effort from authorities.

If its my right to smoke, I think the government cant prevent this from occuring, they have to support it, which is the judgement and this entails buying/selling.

If any body cares for a informal review of the above:

Mushigoat seeds isnt live yet I think, but breeder is active on Facebook (Angelos) and he started off as the rep for Pachamama in South Africa before it went balls up with dodgy agents. Went his own route and has a big passion for it. He will go out of his way to get something to you if you dealt with him, good character, will vouch. Im growing a few F1's of a CBD strain with a hidden pheno hes looking for.. will see what happens.

Greensmokeroomseeds imports from the UK, does store some locally and apparently do their own breeding but not 100% on this. My neighbor just ordered from them so will see how that goes.

Cannabisseeds.co.za for Dinafem is the best of the lot. Seeds are always fantastic and the genetics are spot on. They bank them locally so next day delivery in many places. Ive met the owner, legit setup with Dinafem supporting them fully.

Bobbygreenhash and Cannamart sell the same genetics from HolySmokeSeeds (Ex south african in the UK, won many cannabis cups in Amsterdam and is a panel judge every year just about). I grew two of their strains last season and oh my golly gosh... Blue Strawberries and Sex Wax... amazing plants, lovely to smoke or to extract. Ive got some Choc Mint Bananas going at the moment from them.
I prefer to go through Cannamart as Krithi is cool and generally available to chat. Ive had some run ins with Bobbies aggressive guard dog followers who dont have a clue.

Cannabisgenetics arent live yet...

Pachamama seeds are blue labelled out of spain. Dont trust the genetics, have grown various plants and the results were ok..

amadeadlyseeds.. not too much to say except the breeder is dramatic and confrontational..

And lastly no comment on Nguni, no interaction with them.

Looking at the instagram posts about 420 monkeys and trichoma they seem like they are sourcing the specific strains as well from local suppliers, they seem to match their description. I sure as hell hope at R180p/g that I am getting what I ordered.

If this ends up happening I will personally start private gardens on every bit of publicly accessible property I can find. I'm sure there are enough stoners around to blanket the entire country nicely haha
 
Unless you buy from a reputable international breeder who has featured on competitions, you absolutely 100% cannot be sure what you get.

The more strains you grow, the more phenos you pickup on and more you can identify. Some strains give off distinctive terpenes which makes it easy but you really need to grow yourself for a number of seasons to get a feel for this.

If you are paying over R100/g then its going to be decent indoor, no doubt.But whether its that knocks your socks off indoor who knows :D
