Anyone have experience with Canasutra cookies? A family member who doesn't have high tolerance levels took a whole sativa cookie which according to their site is around 90mg and yet it had very little effect on them. Is this maybe a case of them overstating their THC per batch of cookies. They don't smell particularly potent unlike the bobbygreenhash ones as well.

Was it the normal cookies or the strong version. I do fine with the normal cookies.

I see you say 90mg then it's the strong version. That would kill me. Your family member must have a high tolerance for edibles then. Maybe try the brownies which are stronger?

Sorry. I checked now on the websites 90 mg is the normal strength cookies. In that case your family member will need the stronger version or the brownies. I think that is why they make different strengths, to cater for different tolerances.

Its the normal version. On their site the normal version says 720mg per batch and its 8 cookies per batch so around 90mg each I assume. The strong version is double that.

I really doubt they have high tolerance. Those BGH ones had a much more profound effect on them and I'm sure I read somewhere those are only 25mg iirc. The thing is the they don't even smell that strong unlike the BGH ones which have a real weed odor to them.

Keep in mind that edibles sadly just don't work one some people regardless of tolerance levels. You could try their oil instead if the family member is opposed to smoking/vaping.

I've tried edibles from BGH, Ganjie and HowzitBud with no effect. One of HowzitBud's chocolates had an effect on me after taking some other medication along with it. The second chocolate I tried from them had no effect.

I need 2 of the Bobbygreenhash cookies where I only need 1 for Cannasutra. I guess it's because each person is different and experience it in a different way. Maybe they had a bad batch?

Exactly this. Well said. My sister also get no effect on edibles no matter how much she takes.
 
Howzit, any suggestions where I can buy Silicone Dab Rigs for decent prices. Online shops are a bit overpriced....I heard they might sell them at the Flea Market next to Hendrik Potgieter, has anyone shopped there?

Cannasutra's products have very little effect on me overall. I shouldn't be able to take 10 "strong" THC capsules and still be standing, let alone hardly feel the effects, or eat half a box of those cookies and hardly feel it. But that's how it's worked for me. I just don't seem to get affected by edibles anymore, or at least none of the ones anyone has sold me in recent times. It's weird because the first time I ever succeeded in getting high was off of edibles (previous attempts at smoking had no effect on me).

Its mostly the same with all of the other providers also. I took a 500mg cookie which came from the monkeys and there was no effect.

Edibles certainly work for some and not for others. That's been proven in this thread.

Yeah, I still consider it strange that they used to work for me and now don't. It's one thing not having edibles affect you because of something in your biology, but it feels like another to go from being able to be absolutely downed by them to feeling basically nothing. I want an explanation for my transition into edible immunity dammit.

I didn't mean to point out Cannasutra in particular - they're just the vendor I most recently tried and specifically went and upped the doses to much-higher-than-recommended. BBGH cookies were the same (however my mother couldn't even cope with half a BBGH cookie). Same with Elixir Extracts edibles. Same with chocolates from HowzitBud.
 
For all those who said edibles don't have much effect , You should give Ganjie's new gummies a bash , The previous ones was not that great I'm not gonna lie but the new stock they have is Fire.

But yea to each there own when it comes to edibles .
