Ideally I'd like a device that can monitor my THC levels constantly. It should have GPS and some sort of Internet connection so a drone can be dispatched to my current location with new product the moment it detects that I'm starting to feel un-high. #thefutureisnow
 
420M can only deliver my Skunk tomorrow (or maybe even Fri). I am on a cooking mission and in need of quantity like now.
Anyone able to hook me up in the Harties area? Am okay with a bit of a drive if need be.

So just picked up my parcel from elixirextract.co.za containing some gorilla bomb & trainwreck. Using PostNet.


Super excited! It's not that often I smoke some proper indoor.


Let's take a look..
Below, the <<Trainwreck nug< on the left & >Gorilla bomb nug>> on the right.

It's definitely better quality, but that doesn't mean the gorilla bomb sucks or anything. Actually they're both very nice. The gorilla bomb is potent.

Upon opening the packet (which was sealed well & wrapped thoroughly) the smell was present but not overwhelmingly strong. A smell of pine.

So I broke off some of the trainwreck and loaded my dynavap yet again. I just used my index finger and thumb to break it, and it left some trichomes behind!
(Totally good sign).


Perhaps earthy, pine, & citrus sounds like a weird combination. Though they go together so well in the taste of this strain.


Effects are leaning more towards
Sativa. First setting in as a cerebral high then comes back and the rest settles in.

Feels as though the high develops in waves, or maybe like each passing cart on a "train".. or maybe i'm just REALLY baked right now:ROFL:

It's a more productive, energetic feeling. Things seem funnier. I am a little dizzy, but that's about it for the negatives.

With a name like trainwreck, I was picturing just how wrecked I may feel after trying it. But as strong as it is, there is a gentleness about it. The effects are also uplifting & I don't feel quite as distracted.

Would recommend for daytime use, socialising hanging out, camping, hiking etc.


Overall I was just buying some indoor to try it out, review then move along to the next. Yet this is strain I will probably purchase again sometime in the future.

Guys in Cape Town are mad at the Jozi and Durbz Owen's buying online. We're waiting 5 days max for deliveries. While you guys can get it same/next day

CPT guys we should start forming the consortium.

Had a call just now (Wed morning) from a guy looking for a house at the DSV locker's delivery address (an Engen garage). I had to explain to him what a DSV locker is. He hung up.

Guy 2 phoned a few minutes later, said cool, they'll deliver to the locker and the system will automatically send me the PIN. Sweet.

Guy 3 phoned about an hour after that, said nope, they can't deliver boxes to DSV lockers (?!) but he'll deliver to my home address tomorrow. :rolleyes:

Seems the Dvs locker system is broke, imagine the infrastructure and maintenance costs with lockers, nevermind security risks, nuts. Pargo guys got it right by having the parcels instore handed over by the cashiers.
 
I saw the DSV lockers today and it has different size lockers. The biggest locker was big enough for any weed delivery. Unless you're a distributor yourself.

What temp do you guys recommend for your vaporisers? I tried out the Vital last night and at one point it was really hot on the pull as well as in my hand at 200C. I think I might get the bubbler attachment seeing as I definitely prefer it cooler.

Earlier in the thread I posted about my experience ordering from elixirextract.co.za. ordering process was easy and delivery was prompt the next day.
Order, payment and delivery. 10/10

Now for the not so good.
My order was pre-rolls consisting of underdawg og, fruity chronic juice, sour diesel and gorilla bomb. Joints were decently rolled but not great.

I'm a heavy daily smoker but a big bong rip or a joint with the good stuff knocks me hard. And I'm sorry to say but not 1 strain did much for me. They give me a light buzz and nothing more. The potency of the bud is way off. I smoked 1 of each strain one after the other but none of them lifted me up or glued me to my couch. I'll be man down after 4 joints of my usual greenhouse-level daily smoke.
Potency 2/10.

Others in this thread have had better experiences so dont take mine in isolation. They've seen the first and last of my money though. I can post pics of the remaining joints if anyone is interested.

Overall verdict:
Use at your own risk. The fact that 4 different strains are suspect tells me it's not just one off batch. Use this or dont it's up to you.

Because I've gotten in the habit the last few months of using Hornet pre-rolled cones which makes my life so much easier. Just grind and fill. I find rolling to be a tedious process.

Also worth noting is I use it by myself to help treat my depression. I've never smoked weed socially with friends so that casual let's roll it up vibe is completely absent from my experience. It's just me and my joint in the back garden.

I totally agree.
I ordered some gorilla, underdawg and trianwreck after reading the amazing reviews here, and was expecting to be floored after what I read.

They even threw in a gram or 2 of kush for free.
Service was great and fast, buuuut, found the bud to be very average. It got me lightly stoned, but nothing some Swazi wouldn't do, and nothing to get excited about.

The indoor trainwreck was particularly average for an indoor chron. I was excited because I can't afford the R180 - R200 price tag on most good indoors anymore, but didn't seem like a R100/G worthy indoor...

The price would be my only motivator, but with delivery fee included, I can get better greenhouse for same if not cheaper. And also delivered to my door.

Think they could've maybe cured a bit better(seemed a bit wet) and deliver in air tight bags so they don't lose their smells.

Maybe I was unlucky or maybe I need a tolerance break, but probably won't spend anymore money with them unless I run out of option.

This is not intended to bash them, but help manage some people expectations.
Each to their own.
