I saw pictures posted earlier in the thread which look absolutely different from what i received & without seeds.

There could be a few reasons why it has all of a sudden changed but at the end of the day gives her no right to screw anybody over, if your product has changed SAY SO. No wonder she made excuses sending me pictures before the purchase.

Is it a done trick for vendors to sometimes spray a fragrance enhancement on bud?

Fragrance would surely add a chemical flavour to the smoke that would be impossible to hide or go undetected.

I haven’t smoked marijuana since the cannabis expo in JHB on 15 December, and before that it was about the same length of time. So I’m keen to try each strain provided with a lowered tolerance.

I’ll be doing one strain per day in the evening using my favourite Golden Wrap tobacco paper. I’ll be sure to give my own experience with each strain, only problem is deciding which to start with:laugh:

Have you ever been a daily smoker?
I want to hear from someone who is/was a daily smoker and if they noticed any positive effects in their life after stopping for a month (at least)
 
I use (vape or consume) daily. Last tolerance break was Sep 2018 for about 2 months (until I discovered this thread :laugh:)

When using, I either don't dream at all or I fail to remember it the next morning. About a week after stopping I'd start having these REALLY vivid, super interesting, realistic dreams. ("You ever have that feeling where you're not sure if you're awake or still dreaming?") No nightmares though, and I sleep like a log. Dreaming's fun and I miss it, so I'd say that's one positive effect.

Also definitely don't snack as much when off the herb, but I need to gain weight so for me that's actually a negative.

Im also a heavy daily smoker so my tolerance is very high. I'm sure for the casual smoker this is going to be more than sufficient.
I actually wanted to smell all the jars this morning to see if the smell changed, but I forgot. Have not had a weed hangover like this in a while.

At this stage I cant say If I will use them again. Will have to try the other strains.

PS. To the dude who found 10 seeds in his indoor bud. Ja no look dude that is not on. If I find a single seed in my indoor i'm already pissed, because why am I paying a premium...
Its also not cool that the weight is also not accurate, I did not even weigh mine and I normally do. I have never bought from anyone who actually gave me less. Depending on the quantity I buy I will normally get a few grams more than I paid for.
My smell is not what it used to be, but I doubt mine smells artificial, But it can be, I dont know what the strain is supposed to smell like. But I have smoked Blueberry Kush before and I can tell you the smell was heavier, sharper/sweeter and nicer than this, But at R250 per gram vs this R40 a gram stuff......:p

I'm not particularly impressed with elixerextract's Gorilla Bomb (R500 combo). I usually elbow pack my Extreme Q to conserve herb. With Trichoma's Sour Diesel & White Widow, I easily got 2 full bags of dense vapor (start temp: 180C; end temp: 195C) from one pack. The Gorilla Bomb only gets me about 1/3 a bag for the same amount of weed (start temp: 180C; end temp: 210C). It's dry enough, in my opinion, but quite a few seeds.

Haven't tried the other strains yet.

EDIT: Duh. 180C, 195C obviously.

My Elixir Combo is finished. I only really enjoyed the underdawg & gorilla bomb. The underdawg only knocked me sideways the first time, and this was after a tolerance break of a month. The other strains were average. Enjoyed the pollen. GB had 4 seeds, sour diesel had a lot. Each strain weighed more than stated. Overall, I thought it was good for the price.

I tend to agree with you completely, the Underdawg only really kicked my ass with the 1st blunt I had, so did the sour diesel and gorilla bomb.

So the past 3 days while I was at home, I thought I'd try all the strains and made proper baseball bat joints of all the strains I had left (champagne, gorilla, sour diesel and underdawg) made about .8gs per blunt (dropped my bong the other day and it broke!!) To see if I need a tolerance break or it might just be the Elixir Extracts weed lost its potency, a friend of mine gave me some Mango Kush he got somewhere, I made a J from it also, and marked them all clearly on the filter so I know which is which...

Started on NYE with the Gorilla blunt, smoked the entire blunt, and I was only really a bit baked for about 15-20mins. I woke up with a proper headache though.

New year's day, I tried the Sour diesel and the Champagne Kush J's, about 2 hours apart while braaing, neither of them did anything.

Then Wednesday morning I tried the last of Elixir, the Underdawg, thinking at least this might do something, smoked the entire joint alone (I was with my bud that gave me the Mango Kush, he smoked some other mixture he had) it was a bit harsh on my chest, and I started coughing, then eyes went bloodshot, I started feeling it in my face, behind my eyes, it made me a bit blazed, but again, really only lasted maybe 30mins at the most...

Which leaves me to yesterday, when I tried the MK my friend gave me, him and I shared the blunt made, and we were both pretty baked for some time (give or take an hour or so) we lost track of time talking ****, eating everything we could find!

So, I don't know if I'm going g to be using elixir again for a bit, I'd like to try the trainwreck, but at R100 pg, I'm not sure if I'm willing to do it.

Looks like it's back to 420m for me.

I can relate to so much of what you said in this post, so much so that im thinking, its actually time for a break, i've actually already told my bud, he can fetch the last bud i have from Elixir later this afternoon.

My name is Mareloo and Elixir Extract is my baby...

First a little bit about myself for these that would like to know. I have been smoking for the last 35 years and growing for the last 10. Cultivating was an interesting hobby until I googled the Attitude seedbank in 2010 on accident. It grabbed my imagination like you won’t believe. The thought that I could order any strain from across the world and grow them in my back garden was beyond believe. I promptly set out to do just that. When my first DNA Lemon skunk pulled its head out of the coco coir I fell in love. Totally and utterly. It changed my live forever. I knew in that instant that this is what I want to do for the rest of my life. Turns out I have green fingers and all Seed banks have specials every month. I’ve shared every little detail of all my grows mostly on social media and other weed related pages like yourself. Never set out to sell... It was a gradual process.
In May 2012 I looked up and saw about 20 policemen in my Flower room. Long story short I was charged with cultivation. 500 plants, there estimation half a million rand, bail the Monday morning...
Have you ever seen a “lab” destroyed? What they can’t pull out and take with, they break. It was truly hart breaking cleaning that mess up. I have always DIY my lights and noticed that even if you hit the ballast with a massive hammer, they don’t always break... The first notice came from the post office there is a parcel waiting...
Another long story short, 15 days before my 2012 trail would have started, I opened the door to the Hawks. 1500 plants jada jada jada.. 3 months later both my cases combined, sentenced to 10 years... 5 years suspended. Sat 2 and a half years... Done parole 2 and a half years.
One night in prison I woke sobbing, my heart ribbed out. I dreamed I was standing in this massive multi strain veg room. The police are coming. I noticed one of the plants is dry and went to fetch some water... thinking why do you fetch water, The Cops are coming... Seeing a plant that looks very nutrient deficient... Can’t help... The cops will destroy it. It filled me with such sadness... I woke knowing that I am not done yet. I will grow again.
It is now 3 years later... Weed is legalized. I knew it would happen in my lifetime. I am finally back on my feet. Exciting times ahead. Still a sword over my head. But... I am filled with hope for our future.
First I am a farmer. The rest I do the best I can. The people that know me, knows that I never give short. It is a motto that works for me. I pride myself in it. I don’t spray my crops with chemicals. The bud structure will change and I cant imagine the taste. @ Forager I hand picked that nug of Trainwreck for you. I remember it because the order was so small and the nug weight 1.2 gs.. I decided to leave it. You obviously never had 10 full grown seeds on a scale. Your math’s don’t add up and you are a lyer..
Let’s talk couriers. My favorite people to hate. Over the festive season the wheels came off for the DSV lockers. In some parts of the country maybe forever. Cape town especially battles to deliver. I had 3 reports that DSV does not actually deliver to their own lockers. Ext ext ext... I have to say it depends from branch to branch. Some branches went out of their way to deliver and not one parcel lost. Aramex did just as bad but have temporally stopped their thieving ways. Ram did not pick up one day but have delivered in a timely fashion. Postnet took longer than usual and now I have heard about Pargo.. Thank you airborne .. That option will be available very soon.
It is true, you do get bad batches. The THC Lean. Very simple to make. You get your THC/CBD to bond with Vegetable Glycerin. That was not the problem. The problem start when you worked of your feet and decide to just take a shortcut and infused the THC Lean with FECO (Full extract cannabis oil) If you keep to the ratios nothing can go wrong... I was so wrong.

After I received a whatsapp from Joka69 I decided to pack 2 x bottles in for me and my better half on our mini Xmas break. I warned her that I have been told the THC lean is very weak and not to be shy. I felt very little, she as sick as a dog. Greenies. Got to much in. I inspected the bottles of what was left. The FECO did not bond to the VG properly. I could visually see that her bottle had way more FECO in than mine. Even when mixed and poured directly there was definably more FECO in the last bottle I suspect. Obviously, I made a new batch the old fashion way as soon as we got home. All is well now I am so sorry Joka69.. Pls contact me. I cant remember if somebody else also bought one before Xmas, but if you did, Pls contact me with your order nr.
The tunnel has been curing since last year March April and May. Anybody that has cured their own bud will know that it is impossible to cure bud in high humidity. You will pick up mold in the first few days. It looks like the competition has found your thread... Pleased to meet you all

@Forager. The only thing that I am going to comment on other than your 'learn to spell' comment is that it appears that certain suppliers are hurting your business and you have found an outlet on this forum to slate them.

If you are going to comment on someone's ability to spell, please make sure that your's is above reproach. Other members on this forum may not have English as a first language. Your commentary is riddled with grammatical and spelling errors and makes you look like a fool after a comment like that. The first word of your latest post should read 'you're' as in you are and not your. I won't even go into the numerous other errors in that post alone.

No.. I don't think a seed weigh half a gram each.. Simply because that would've been a 5g package :D Your math skills is still terrible ;p

I dont understand.. If you were that unhappy.. Why not just simply ask for a refund? We are talking total 3gs here.. Never mind, even I with my SERIOUSLY learning disabilty just confirmed your only mission here is to discredit me.
