Awesome! I really hope it works out for you.
Once you experience the positive effects cannabis can have on your life, whether recreational or medicinal, it is such an eye opener...you'll start wondering about all the other stuff "they" told you were evil and bad for you
If you are very THC sensitive, try finding a strain like Harlequin, which has high CBD and lower THC. As a long time user, I thought it would be lame, but honestly, it's one of the best experiences I've had with cannabis. It is such a mellow and uplifting experience - it forces a smile on your face without you even realizing.
If you buy some Harlequin flower and make your own tincture from it, I imagine that would be the perfect solution.
Unfortunately, I don't know who has Harlequin at the moment...sadly, it can be tricky to find locally, but it does pop up from time to time. Maybe someone here knows a shop that sells it.
Another option for a CBD rich strain is Cannatonic, which 420 monkeys currently sell - supposedly it's similar to harlequin but I have no personal experience with it.
Here's a write-up on some high CBD strains (I've only ever seen Harlequin, Cannatonic, and ACDC locally though):
