Okay, well we'll have to disagree on the soap issue, but SAB always used to recommend not using machine washers and to hand wash beer glasses with sunlight and then rinse well and drain dry and never use a cloth to dry

I suspect you've just described pretty much any business

Actually it's not so easy, from a quality perspective SAB used to be quite fanatical about a whole load of things when it came to handling the product, especially draught, they used to take great care and cognisance of consumer complaints

I've been looking for that info on cleaning agents but keep running into circular arguments. As many "experts" say avoid diswashing liquid as say use it. One thing seems to keep popping up though is that dishwasher soaps containing a rinsing agent is a no-no.

There was a discussion about this amongst the local home brewers 5-10 years back, but that seems to have disappeared into the ether.

I'm not the world's biggest Weiss fan, but I do find that the odd heffeweiss quite enjoyable since being exposed to it in Germany.

Very crisp almost dry blonde ale. Alas I think it's been over carbonated. Huge initial head and very fizzy first taste.

Not my favorite style of beer so not the best of judge

I cannot in good faith recommend it to anyone. Even after leaving it to stand while I did a few things around the house it was still way too carbonated

As for your &union beer: I think their Sunday IPA is better. I was a rebel and had one on a Thursday, it was just as good

How does one get hold of all these craft beers? I mean most liquor stores only sell SAB stuff and maybe Jack Black or CBC and a Erdinger. Seems like there is at least one brewery in every town. Is there a website of sorts that lists all craft beers and where they are?

Jack Black is brewed by Boston breweries by the way. Both have very nice beers and of late JB has grown considerably. The plain lager is the best (at a nice price too) but the stores close to me mostly stock the 440ml Butchers Block and Skeleton Coast etc.
