Also go to your work bench in the White House, you can upgrade your world tiers there

What level are you?

You do need to boost your world tier level because the enemies get more difficult as you progress later on.

You basically get to level 30/complete the main story, then black tusk invades and everything changes. You need to take out the 4 strongholds, each one unlocks a new WT level, Tidal Basin came out last week Friday I believe which when you complete takes you to WT 5. (You need to upgrade your work bench after each stronghold)

Its pretty cool the way they give new content on the same map without it being exactly the same each play-through

Oh, what I used to do before black tusk invaded is do a gear run everyday. Take as many control points as you can and when you login visit each one daily or however often you can. They weapons/gear crates refresh every 24hrs which is why you can only do it once daily...

AND - If you get an exotic weapon at a low level then when you level up later on it wil be pretty useless because it will be a lower gear score/WT level

All exotics can be upgraded to your WT at your bench (pending on it’s WT). You will need exotic components which is RNG, but they do drop when you grind enough. The exotics which comes without blueprints, once you have them you may purchase their blueprints at the White House vendors. You can keep them around, once you reach WT they will score 250.

The 3 exotics I have are,

- Chatterbox (490)
- Liberty (490)
- Merciless (500)

I dismantle my Sweet Dreams to gain exotic components (to do the upgrades), but I still need one more Sweet Dreams to upgrade my Lullaby to 500.

I still need Pestilence, but I want an DZ buddy, it is too lonely in their alone. The Nemesis is still unlockable, many believe the blueprint is locked behind the raid, but you can get the components. I already have 1 Nemesis component.

I didn’t get the Ruthless exotic, because I required the Gold Edition, but I did pre-order. Sad panda.

When you say upgrade the workbench, do you mean the crafting bench? Or the reclibration station?

I've been upgrading the crafting bench as I've leveled up but possibly I need to complete more main missions and such to develop the story.

Just an FYI.

You can upgrade the bench from blue to purple at lvl24, then purple to gold at lvl 29.

Thereafter as you go up the world tiers...
 
Yea I have a gold bench now, though I need more blueprints as the weapons and gear I can build aren't all that exciting. All of my weapons have been picked up as they're all more powerful than what I can craft. Same goes for most of my armor.

Just opened up some new projects though so I'm going to roll through those.
 
2 questions , 1 silly

1) Where do you purchase your online copy ? cant find it on steam like I did when TD1 was on sale.

2) How does the game run on 8GB ram vs 16GB ?

Should be. Can't recall exactly how uplay works(if you have to select region, or automatically dumps you in eu?) but it should be global
 
Bought the game, never thought i would pay almost 1k for a game but hopefully they don't just abandon this 1.
Anyway game looks gorgeous on high.

Can any confirm point me to the ubisoft forum where they discuss builds and performance queries. my build is getting a bit strained...
CPU( R5 1600 stock) is north of 50% ( just game , uplay and windows 10 stuff)
Ram ( 1x 8GB 3000 Mhz) getting another soon
GPU 1070ti
game installed on SSD
Rez: 2560x 1080 ( wide screen)
 
Still enjoying the game but not playing as actively while I wait for the upcoming patch, also need to get to Thursday to finish Nemesis hopefully.

Until patch its basically just sorting loot and keeping god rolls for recalibration when patch hits.

View YouTubers, they discuss the best builds, but with the upcoming patch this week the metas will change. I stopped playing, clocked 170hrs and now I wait until the game is updating.
 
Also, Ubi is starting to ban some third-party keys due to credit card fraud. If your game is greyed out, you know that the seller was up to no good.
 
Lost some interest, got bored of playing the same content over and over to get higher gear score stuff.

Granted there's more content than TD1, but I wanted to jump into some PvP for a few hours per week. Can't do that if I have to endlessly grind...
