The Division 2

Patch is rolling out today. 6.5Gb download. Some believe the raid may be enabled on Thursday already.

Nice, update forced invaded change and I quickly grabbed the nemesis blueprint.

Re jigging my gear also bumped armor 60k and life 50k.

So... unless you are in a big'ish clan, 8 players or more, or have more than 7 buddies around playing The Division 2 you won't be able to do the raid. The raid will have no matchmaking mechanic. I get that the group must have diversity, specialised builds to participate in the raid, but The Division's biggest issue has always been the PvE vs PvP crowd.

Just go here -> https://forums.ubi.com/forumdisplay.php/1869-The-Division-2 and you will quickly notice how these two crowds can't agree. You may also see their bouts on Reddit, Twitter, etc.

Ubi is using the Destiny excuse. Though the Bungie community are more in agreement with the reasons. Ubi won't make the same mistake with Wildlands 2, sorry Breakout. You see, Ubi promised that The Division 2 will be a playable solo experience.

Anyway, it isn't hard to get people to play with so I don't know why people are bitching this hard. Unless there are time limits on certain achievements meaning that the 8 player group have to be available to reach that goal within the given time limit. I know there will be. The 1st team to complete the raid will also be always be remembered which is a pity as I would have this aligned with some scoreboard and there will be obvious limited cosmetic runs.

Please don't add match making to raids.

Raiding should be about the clan, about being social like in the old days. People who push and play to raid, that is not raiding. Building up your peers, working on a goal. Being social and planning it. That is what raiding is about.

If you make a match making version that is easier. No one will go through the trouble of caring about clans or being social. Devs the only way to get people to start being social again, to make raids have more meaning is for people to be pushed to be more social for it.

I respect you for this, but like I said it would lose all meaning if you just dumb it down for match making people. Wow spoiled people with raiding thinking they are raiders by just pushing a button and doing a raid. That is not what true raiding was about, and we need to bring it back.

Oh and give console global chat, make them be social also

The bait is real, more than 460 replies to that thread already

I only fire this up on occasion, cause I'm still such a low level I kind of get bored of doing the same missions over and over to get xp.
Game is beautiful and it's not bad when you get into a firefight. A couple of times I've requested backup and no one pitches, I've also got a hostage which I've released but he just stands there shouting help.

Looking for Any LOcal DIscord Groups for Rainding, Me and 4 Friends have a clan but we'd like to Raid with Local Guys if there a Discord please let me know.. thanks.

Anybody here still playing? Looking for players to chat and run harder content with. (Escalations, Incursions, Master Manhunts)

When you just got back to base to check your loot after nearly getting your **** pushed in near the end of a Retaliation run...

Man I tried it but couldn’t get into it.

I found everyone had already surpassed starting and doing end game no one is even leveling. So boring and dying over and over again on the first pack of mobs wasn’t fun at all. Definitely not a solo game.

Understandable. Many of the 'calls for backup' are from new / low level players lately, and like me, high SHD level players answering will join but then just leave after immediately if that player is doing early game or low tier content.

It is worthwhile to note if high level players join newbie missions,/ low level players the enemies will scale to the new average 'tier' in the squad. It can make the new players run hell if he strays from squad.

IN the case described just play on normal world tier through the campaign. You will level to 40 as you go, get introduced to specialization classes. skill unlocks and builds as you go.. Only after level 40 does builds and gear become more useful, and from heroic on mandatory for survival.

OR there is a once off Level boost per character you can use if you know the ropes already..

Push the world tier, and once you comfortable on challenging, go to heroic for better quality loot.

Pass that solo play is very difficult.

I absolutely loved this game but jeez, haven't played for years.
Yeah, I can't believe it's 7 years old already. It was such a pretty looking game from that era. I got it free with some part or other I bought in 2019.

It still is a pretty game. I like the campaign in this, but preferred the MP from the first game. Spent many days jamming Last Stand...

Even better looking and performing now. had a graphical enhancement update earlier this year.

Game is populated. There is a lot of content, so finding stuff to join is simple, finding a competent team among the many randoms for later / endgame content is the gauntlet of exasperation.

though I among the incompetent too sometimes .

I just wish they'd bring out Division 3 already, it's long overdue.

Ubisoft Says The Division 3's Future And Roadmap Is "Secure"

Ubisoft already knows "exactly where we are going [with The Division 3] and exactly what we want to do."

Ubisoft's The Division 3 is moving ahead without executive producer Julian Gerighty, who recently left the company to join EA to work on the Battlefield franchise. At the time, Ubisoft told fans they needn't worry about The Division 3 losing him, and now senior producer Fredrik Brönjemark has echoed that sentiment, saying the roadmap for The Division 3 had been "planned and secured for some time already."

I had a glove prototype drop last night, that wasn't part of targeted loot pool. but man, am i happy i suffered through that T5 escalation. Was revived 6 time. The healer with Birdie quick fix and smart cover was an absolute legend.

Petrov Gloves with 20% weapon core, 15% Status effects, 15% weapon handling. With status effect duration augment as well.
Looking forward to see what status shenanigan LMG build I can put together :)

RNG can be a real bastard mostly though.

They too busy with resurgence now, making a killing off p2w
Gave it a try, although I enjoyed Division 1, I found that 2 and Resurgence are extremely team orientated and a single player really battles to make any headway, even PVE opponents are a nightmare on some missions.
