The Division

With a good group of people you rush to the tunnel entrance, and climb to the top-right platform (FFS - why do people go to the middle platform), take out the 3 snipers behind you and the sticky-bomb the crap out of the 3 waves.

Did this multiple times on Saturday both tactics (clear as usual or rush past both beginning groups and up that ladder and clear everything), the downside to the latter tactic is you can get seriously wiped out with the permanent grenade spam if your group doesn't prioritize targets from both the group you just rushed past (Commanders/Grenadiers) and the group(s) you deal with before the tunnel

O and regarding the difference in stats change from vendor's menu to inventory (actually equipping the gear) as in the vendor's menu stats go up (green) but equipped stats go down (red). Any advice on that? Or how do you compare equipment from drops/vendor with what is equipped?

The stats on equipping are still not fixed. My Firearms and Stamina (Electronics doesn't really change for me) only reflect the correct values up until I decide to start comparing items in my inventory. After that, I generally need to log out and back in again.

It seems Massive's "fix" was FA on Inv screen = FA on Character sheet, as now both areas reflect incorrect values.
For me at least :(

Teamviewer in on your phone.

I became level 30 yesterday, sitting on DZ level 19. Had a fun run yesterday with a saffa and 2 americans who I randomly bumped into in he DZ.

Hey man, hope you got my messages, I saw you at Lincoln Tunnel and was tempted to join :D
Just helping a friend get to 30 to try and prepare for tomorrow's patch.

Nothing more frustrating when the rest of your team rushes full retard/Leeroy Jenkins into a mob of golf-club-wielding and grenade throwing enemies (or the part when they will continue standing in one spot sniping, while busy being burned to a crisp from a flame-grenade).

I am now DZ53 and only spent 1 hour in the DZ yesterday - it was already a nightmare with maps more populated than usual - lots of rogue activities - I think I will avoid the DZ for 1-2 weeks after incursions for the whole loot-goblin issue to calm down.

Bwuahaha, yip!

Luckily the group I play with is always in a PS Party, so if anyone stuffs up, they get called out on it and learn never to do that again

This I saw way too many times this weekend.
Higher end players coming down to DZ1 then will actually either help you or just hang out at the extraction points, the minute the time is up and you want to hook the equipment they kill you off and take your loot.

WHY? why dont you go and take that chance with higher end players that can actually kick your A$$, but no it is just much easier to kill some one that has no chance as they are trying to get good loot.

I eventually started doing missions on hard to avoid the DZ for a bit, seems I will be avoiding it more for a while.

Yeah I wont be really any help if I do missions on Challenge mode as my weapons and health is not up to par for that.
But if you guys dont mind a low end player tagging along I will gladly join the run and try help as far as possible even if I am the human shield, dont mind :)

Honestly as long as you got some level 30 purples, you can meaningfully contribute to Challenge modes.
As much as killing the enemies requires decent DPS, stunlocking (Incendiary/shock/flash grenades, Sticky with flash) is almost just as important.

Yes having uber DPS and tanky gear will make it easier, but tactics can win the day just as easily.

I can organize 3x Challenge runs (90 PxC, you mentioned you need 65?) this evening if you're keen?

Exactly what he said.

We had a friend that we got to 30 fast, and then joined us on a daily mission on challenging mode right away. His Health wasn't far off ours, but DPS less than half, and he still contributed. We just made sure he made the right skill setup, sat back a bit, healed us when required, and stun locked big groups. Got through the missions in the same amount of time. Was very satisfying.

Cool, that will be much appreciated, I will be on about 8:30 tonight.
Have I added you to my friends list?

Sticky Flashbang + Support Station (Revive/Ammo Cache) is best choice for undergeared team members, even with min 5-10k skillpower it will bring tons of utility

I was dealing with a team member trying to convince me his Pulse was 'just as good as' my 38k skillpower Pulse :o

Yes you have, I kept seeing you online over the weekend and as I wanted to join, I'd get invaded and told "we're doing PowerPlant/Lincoln/Lexington challenge, lets go" :(

8:30 sounds good, Consulate might enter the mix just a heads up :p

Otherwise depending on how 'new' the team is to doing challenging mode, take Smart Cover. I read (and tested) that using the ballistic shield stops the close quarter enemies from charging, so there's another option. Having someone with a semi-high Electronics would assist in the shield staying up longer though.

Hehehe... I gather you pointed him to the character sheet after each of you had done a pulse? :D

Do Lincoln Tunnel in the way I described above. As long as your health is in the 60Ks you will be fine provided that you hang back and work as support (i.e. sticky bomb, support station with auto self-rez). The snipers will probably take you out one-shot and the flame-grenades will probably also take out a considerable chunk of health, but as long as you play defensive, and stick to your team-members (for them to revive you), you will go unnoticed.

I would have no problem carrying people like you as long as you don't Leroy Jenkins into the distance, then die a horrible death and then swear at everyone about not being revived, while being surrounded by shot-gunners (happened on the weekend during Powerplant during the boss fight with 3 waves of rushers - after the 3rd reset I eventually kicked the guy has he just did not want to listen).

I don't get why people don't understand that this is a cover-based game and then wonder why they die within seconds (that is also the reason why I die in DZ - guys just empty a shotgun into my face).

The overpowered players in DZ are just a pain (and it will get worse for weeks from tomorrow). I will empty a clip with my Midas into a rogue and his health will not move substantially. I will wait for extraction and get a few shots and die (or I get sticky-bombed and be a gonner instantly - and that is at 110K primary DPS and 92K health and 19K electronics) - I can agree that at PVP I suck generally and can't compete with those 15 year olds, but my Destiny KDR was always above 1,5 (not brilliant, but consistently average).

BTW (yes I have not bothered looking): Is there a web-version/app of Division where you can look at your character/loadout (similar to what Bungie has)?

no companion app.....yet.

To my knowledge. No. Pretty sure I have seen some guys on reddit asking for this.

BTW - this is what happens to me at least once a day (never in the DZ though, but mostly when I take cover):
