The Division

Not true - you still have to take out the first set of drones and 5 purples before descending

I tried it over the weekend (I was more interested in seeing how it works - and the combo of shield and emptying pistol was just a WTF-moment for me - who figures this even out?) but then quit as I was not going to sticky-bomb some orange rectangle for an hour.

When seeing how it works, it makes me wonder how many other exploits are out there which are not in the wild.

Ran Lincoln CM yesterday and was surprised to see that a random with gear-score 53 joined (not sure how this was even possible, as I would think that he could never be lvl30 - or?). Either way, the guy did really well and after the boss I dropped my HE/purples from him (was a PITA as other players wanted to take it - so that loot-sharing is complete crap) - I am sure it made him happy and his GS got to 130 or so (he was so thankful, that he dropped a blue in return, which out of politeness I picked up and then shredded).

BTW: Not an exploit, but a convenient trick I found to do the daily crafting mission (seems to work for anything): Buy yourself a "recalibrateable" green (costs about 12-14K) and then re-calibrate (each costs about 1K). Each recalibrate counts toward one crafting step. Why I do it: I am hoping that Massive will adjust those the number of matts it takes to craft higher matts (i.e. 15 matts for 1 blue?) - so I am piling up green/blue and the only HE I get are now from salvaging HE drops.

Question: I am always short on electronics and have tons of other matts. Anyone else experience this? Massive should really also drop electronics when salvaging (I don't think they do - or?)

I also are short on it so I try to actually make my own from lower end mats to get the HE parts, but with the massive change they made for the x amount needed it is getting a bit tedious to get the HE parts

Don't trust anyone... especially at a "extraction" :)

Plus 10000

They might just look like normal guys hanging around and trying to farm as you do, but the minute you try to hook your crap then its game time for them.
Because now you lost your loot the chopper is there for them and and it will take you at least two to three minutes to get back there, and because you are low level you do not stand a chance to actually reclaim your loot from them.

So maybe a good tip is the following.
When you see an extraction happening on your map.
1. Either hang back until everyone left and see if there is one more spot for you or
2. Get to a complete different extraction spot maybe in DZ 2 where there is no to little movement right now.
3. Stay way clear of the supply drops.
4. Try to get teamed up even with a non friend. The rogues tend to leave you alone more if you are in a group

When you better gear for the DZ then you can start to roam a single free man, but before that get yourself a girlfriend or boyfriend inside the DZ.

But still dont trust anybody in there

When you send that flair up ...... and you have some good loot :)
snip

Aint that the truth. I don't spend a lot of time in the DZ, but when I do and I need to extract, this is how I feel.
When I'm in there though, there's a lot of times I'll even leave yellows on the ground, as all I want is the XP :D

Seems like Falcon Lost is almost impossible to complete. Each team member is doing his or her own thing. Countless hours and recurring deaths.

Not really. The guys with the backpack issue where locked out of the game for weeks. The guys who lost their characters will have their account restored prior to Ubi's server-crash (which is 2 weeks ago) and they will lose all progress since then. 500 PcX for that and another 150 PcX are hardly a compensation for guys who lost a lot of progress (and probably gave up on the game anyway).

If you think about it: I can run Lincoln/Lexington CM in 30min - and if I do just 3 CM a day I will have 90Pcx - times that by 2 weeks and the 650PcX means nothing to those players.

Worse still is that the cheaters have not been punished and that should be easy - if you have multiply weekly Incursion drops and the gearset at highest level, you cheated as it would be impossible to get this within the week.

Yup, I read that legit players have had something like '8 chances' at 240 gear while the cheaters have had '30-40 chances'

Why is nothing being done

Honestly I feel that THEY even know they stand on a knife's edge. How do you punish people when you don't even fix the problem in a timely fashion? But then how do you not when the community is crying for blood?

Honestly I don't feel they have a choice. Exploiters will know they exploited, which is against the T&C's, thus can cry as much as they want, but it will do the overall community good. Even more so, some stats regarding temp/permabans.

Playing honestly makes rewards feel much more like rewards. I remember the discussion I had with a member of my group regarding the agonising decisions that get made over BP's, because we haven't used any exploits to 'farm' PxC. With the full group now being at 30, we do a couple challenging missions each night, along with the Hard Dailies which nets about 110 - 140 PxC a night.

I had a read of the reddit post where the comparisons are made to D3, where Bliz realised that it's better to just give people what they want, and have them leave feeling satisfied versus Vanilla D3 where drops were like hens teeth... and crappy. While it's not right, you can understand what exploiters are trying to do. They are trying to get that "just give us what we want" out of the game, that's only allowing you very little freedom regarding loot drops.

Communication is key :(

Yeah. Got killed over and over and over again. Eventually got the right team.

Anywho that mess aside I now have:

Sentry’s Call Gear Set: BackPack, Chest Armour
Tactician’s Authority Gear Set: Chest Armour
Path of the Nomad Gear Set: Gloves

Why you gotta bust my bubble? It's sweet for me cause I spent the last week in the hospital :).

I've lost count on the number of Lexington/Lincoln missions I've run looking for Striker gloves, I run my first Power Plant since 1.1 launched and I got Tactician's gloves :o

Well, the extra PcX is going to give you a quick fix to get those blueprints, but then you will be stuck with trying to do incursions to complete your gearset. I am now sitting on 1100PcX and have nothing to spend it on. Outside the DZ is nothing to buy as the crafting got nerfed so bad that I would have to spend most of the time farming matts. Last night in the DZ was just a mess. Every team I matchmaked with wanted to go rogue to take out a single player and in 3 runs all those teams got taken out - I was unfortunate collateral although I backed away/did jumping jacks.

Giving away extra PcX does not solve the core problem that cheaters are now levelling up in the DZ beyond DZ90 due to the advantages they have and when Ubi launches new expansions, those same players will have a tremendous head-start. With casual play I do about 1 DZ-level in 2-3 days (at the moment at DZ56) and it would then take me until end of May to be at DZ75. Getting killed in the DZ immediately takes of 2-3K XP and if you happen to have a really bad run you might actually drop a level.

Are you guys having the same issues or is just me? (Maybe I should not have bought the copy from the street vendor, but he in his defense he said it should be like the original :)

We tried to do daily missions last night with the Water gate, and the Mall but every time we get there or join a different group the doors re closed.

I think i tried to do this about ten times(creating or joining a team) before the doors actually opened
When you select a location to go to the little orange line that normally showed you where to go is gone now.

I need a better gun seriously, I bought the ACP 45 from the vendor in the tech division and from the first craft I got a 9400 dmg from it.
I tried to craft four more and all of them were worse than my original attempt.
My 45 stand on 115k dps at this stage but it feels like I shoot rubber bullets the shields dont want to drop even on elites after the first mag.

I got a Classic AK from a drop but it has only about 9k dmg.

So where do I get proper weapons? Will I only get them now from drops and no more buying prints?
I am still runnig around with a purple sniper rifle that has 29k dmg and have not found any better from drops as I am looking for a semi auto sniper rifle.

Can't say I've had the problem with missions you describe. The only time something went wrong was when we had to try reset the mission. After that logging out was required as the mission would just not reset and never allowed us to start.

On weapons we're almost at the same point. I can recommend buying the Navy MP5 BP from the BoO vendor. That weapon and I get along well.... well until I get the AUG I want :) My DPS is not much beyond yours at 126k. Don't get hung up on what is shown as your sheet DPS though. It places too much emphasis on accuracy and RPM. I don't know how you're not dealing damage though, unless you're trying to engage enemies at mid-to-long distances with a SMG.

Oh, and kneecapping rushers. It works. Very well. :D

I will look into the Mp5.

That is why I always add my normal weapon damage and the dps because the dps are reliant on a lot of other factors an not just the weapon.

We tried to do daily missions last night with the Water gate, and the Mall but every time we get there or join a different group the doors re closed.

This is a bug and on PS4 I have the following work-around:
- Do not set the difficulty/replay on the map
- Fast-travel to the mission (I just select the daily mission from the map and then fast-travel via square-button)
- Set your privacy to open (you want to be group-leader)
- Approach the mission and then change the difficulty
- Walk into the mission area and matchmaking will start (you will be promoted to leader) and other players will join
- Dont be a d*ck and kick players off your team

The above works for me all the time. If you mess up and select difficulty from the map this seems to "stick" until you finish another mission.
