The Division

Stopped playing in June when I learned that the PS4 is a second-class citizen when it comes to releases. Another one of those games with a lot of potential. I think the most entertainment I have gotten out of a game must really be Destiny - perhaps it is my play-style and the limited amount of time I have - i.e. I can not sit and grind for weeks to get gear in order to do something. Division players on PS4 seem to be naturally full of sh*t as well when it came to LFG requirements.

I didn't really mind the exclusivity period tbh, it was only a month after all, besides Underground gets so boring after a while I find myself going back to DZ after one or two missions.

I was also watching - trying hard to ignore the Oz accent - Skill Up :D
He covers the content I want to know/hear about. I'm overall happy with the direction 1.4 is taking, more so that the idea behind this is to make enemies less bullet-spongy and to have weapons behaving like weapons.

I'm interested to see what comes out of the "nerf" round to SMG's and Shotguns though. Hopefully the meta doesn't just swing to LMG's (M60) they way he was predicting due to the buff LMG's receive in general.

I enjoy Skill Up as well but those Upper Echelon Gamers are seriously conceited jeez!

I think a lot of people were complaining about the Sentry/shotgun builds which were ridiculously over-powered.

Had the same - got to DZ level 80 and then got bored. I prefer objective-based/competitive PvPs and DZ is not it. The 500 bucks spend on Destiny Rise of Iron was totally worth it - PvP with the new Supremacy mode is just awesome.

Agreed. I really stopped playing when I realised I didn't stand much chance against those who had the time to grind near-best-stat gear. I still had some fun in the Dark Zone, but it was littered between instances of being severely ganked.

What I REALLY hope comes out of this patch is the need to use cover again. PvP is almost like dodgeball now - If you can dodge a wrench, you can dodge a ball *proceeds to get knocked out by wrench*

I also hope PvP gets sorted out soon. However I don't think it will happen in this patch. They first need to balance the overall game and sort out some issues before they can even think of touching PvP.

The PvP might be positively or negatively impacted by the 1.4 patch. We will only know once a lot of people have access to PvP on the 1.4 patch. I think that if most of the current PvE issues are sorted in 1.4 they can then look at doing a 1.5 PvP patch that will address the current issues with the new ones introduced in 1.4

I watched the talent roundup by Skill Up ("buffs" and nerfs) last night, and have to say that I feel it's a largely positive move.
There are still some talents that I feel will just not be used, even with duration/%incr buffs.

But there are some that I still never would've considered, that I now would due to the reasoning he gives behind their new found strength. I know the clips playing in the background while he talks are probably still using close to BiS gear, but seeing lvl32+ enemies going down in less than 4 magazines is promising :)

Do we now have a confirmed release date for PS4 for the 1.4 patch?

I hope they release better guns, I have been grinding the past two months and I still cannot find any better Sniper rifle, or Assault rifle than what I had two months ago.

Every weapon I pick up is worse than the ones I have, even with mods

What are you running now? Whats your preference? ARs SMGs, Sniper Rifles? Current DPS?

I have one of every type as the guys normally take the waste not option in underground and then you tend to run out of ammo very quickly because everyone just sit back and hope some one else will do the work for them.

But my first stage is normally
G36 Base damage 9.9k with DPS of 266k (I hada AK47 with Base of 11.2 but the DPS is then about 182k)
M1A Sniper with base damage of 46k and DPS is about 180k

Second stage is a LMG with Base 11.2 and DPS 180k
and P99 Base damage 9k and about 166k as DPS

The G36 is one of the best ARs in the game and for SMGs, the PP-19, what better is there? Probably the Caduceus and a MP7 god-rolled I suppose.

I personally use a LVAOC, with high fire-rate but vertical stability is not so good though

I hada good MP7 but the bullets just disappeared to quickly so you are more reloading than anything else

As of yet, the Public Test Server for “The Division” is limited to the PC. However, Ubisoft is still exploring their options to bring it the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One platforms as well.
