I prefer the wireless mouse. Just cant get use to this airmouse thing. Ive got two Mi Boxes and one with airmouse and the other with wireless mouse. The latter works far better. I feel like a drunkard using the airmouse. Only my 2cents.If you have the stick you need to get a Bluetooth mouse. If you have the box you can use a USB/wireless mouse but preferably a wireless air mouse remote.

https://mybroadband.co.za/news/broadcasting/226739-this-is-the-telkom-lit-android-media-box.htmlI see Telkom is bringing out its own Android box, but I see it's running 7.0 (Nougat). Looks pretty good, as you can install DSTV Now which means anyone with DSTV access details can watch sport on their TV
Thoughts?
Will be great. I am getting one. Mibox box clone with ethernet
I do. Ripped most of our DVDs to iso and play these on the mibox off an external. Much easier for the kids to switch between stories than changing DVDs all the time, which only end up scratched in any caseSo nobody used a hard drive on a MiBox to play videos or for some other reason?
Yap but wich one is the better of the two??Will be great. I am getting one. Mibox box clone with ethernet
For me Mibox build quality is better. I use Ethernet USB hub. Voice control on lit not working. However for price no brainer. Wish it had 16gb internal space but we need confirmation unified storage working as some don't with android 7. Most people won't notice difference. I also assume it has a SD card slot and extra USB port which would seal the deal for most at that price. Great cloneYap but wich one is the better of the two??
If it's a new version or modified build for the LIT TVC perhaps someone can extract the APK for people to install on other Android players.I see the LIT comes pre-installed with DSTV now. Does this mean there is a android tv friendly version (I.e. One that doesn't require a mouse)

My phone is rooted, and yeh can't get DStv to work. Interesting that I can't pick up Netflix in the play store eitherSpeaking of the DStv now app, my version 1.36.4 still complains about rooting, is this the same experience for you guys?
But you no longer get the DSTV Now icon on the home screen and you still require a mouse to make the video full screen. The latest version automatically changes interface for android tv
Aight. But my FireTV is not rooted so not sure how to get around the error. An older version (1.36.1 I think) did not complainMy phone is rooted, and yeh can't get DStv to work. Interesting that I can't pick up Netflix in the play store either
Find a previous version of DStv now apkAight. But my FireTV is not rooted so not sure how to get around the error. An older version (1.36.1 I think) did not complain
Isn't there a newer version of the app that does not give false positive "rooted device" errors. The newer versions have a better interface , show what's on each live channel and the progression etcFind a previous version of DStv now apk
I'm not sure hey, and not sure why it's saying rooted when your device is not. Might want to pop them an email or something.Isn't there a newer version of the app that does not give false positive "rooted device" errors.
