I've said it once and I'll say it again - AVSupply really has excellent prices.
The after sales service is exceptional, you just don't get that kind of commitment from any other place.

Trust me, I have dealt with China and and other 3rd parties suppliers

What is the best firmware for the DroidTV MX Media Player now? I've got Matricoms Beta MX2 1.2.2 running at the moment, but battling with XBMC audio sync. I want to stay with Android rather than going with a Linux or Openelec build as I'm using the Supersport android app which works quite well.
This is why I cant do an Android box right now. All these flashing of Roms are confusing the poo poo out of me. Lol

@Icemanbrfc: You only need to update the firmware if there is a problem with the one that is installed. Most customers would be quite happy just to keep using the supplied firmware unless there is a major issue. The current MXIII firmware seems to be working very well.

Okay that sounds a bit better. I keep on Reading about various Roms etc, so explain what a different Rom would do in terms of advantages. I know on phones it is open to many unlocked options, clock speeds, overclocking etc. But thats a phone, so how much does a newer Rom work better than say stock or one that was pre installed?

@Icemanbrfc: AVSupply posted the changelog for the latest MXIII firmware a few pages back. The improvements appear to be very minor from what I can see.

Have you updated the firmware on your Xtreamer Prodigy yet? There are probably several different versions which attempt to fix a variety of problems that were identified during the lifetime of the device.

I purchased off JVan, so I think he might have updated to the latest firmware. Ive not had any issues playing any file off it. :)

but the prodigy was purely a temporary fix for me, so purely playing things off externals.

Will think about a Droid Box once I can sort out my Adsl and so on, as I just dont know what the best deals are out there.

Dude, that Prodigy is rock hard on video and audio support. Show me another player that plays 3D like that :) Yup, you are on the latest and greatest build.
Kinda "moerig" at Xtreamer for not releasing any new FW for it.

AVSupply, your after sales service is truley exceptional.

Couple of emails and out of the blue get told that a new power supply for the MX-III will be arriving.

No long stories, no can I have your postal address and details bla bla fishpaste.

That kind of commitment will set you apart of the rest .

Thanks
