Been waiting the whole day for mine to arrive (bought one for my parents), now I see on the site that Dawn Wing alleges I was not at home, which is BS, the idiots never even called me

I'm sure that you will find that it has been worth the wait!

For those of you looking for an app where you can view skysports, and a host of sports channels like espn, wwe TV etc pop me a pm and I will link you to it. No subs needed. You can thank me later, or if you want you can donate a T2 remote :) some might know the app

There are also movies, music, etc you can stream ;)

Sad thing is I bought it for my parents as an early xmas gift mostly for Netflix.

I want as well, but I want HD Netflix :(

I'm sure that after a month with the MXIII you will no longer be watching Netflix. The SD quality may also surprise you as the S802 upscales the picture to 1080p which improves the picture considerably.

Netflix only has old shows and many B-grade movies which are mostly not worth watching. They have one of the best streaming infrastructures but the content is not up to date. I watch most of the latest TV shows a few hours after they air in the US either on Hulu, Hulu Plus, usdrama.net, shush.se, time4popcorn or using one of the XBMC add-ons such as ProjectFreeTV or 1channel etc. In addition to all the streaming the media player capabilities are very impressive and the picture quality is one of the best that I have ever seen on a media player. Even low quality rips look much better than they do on any of my other media players.

While you are waiting for your machine to arrive, use a browser to test a few shows at www.shush.se or www.usdrama.net to get an idea of what to expect. You should be able to stream at 720p, or some shows at 1080p from shush provided that you have a fast internet connection. You can also sign up for a free Hulu account and watch most of the latest shows using the Hulu android app (need to install version 2.14 of the app).

You can also try these free DNS services to access Hulu etc. ...
dnseraser.com (need to register)
tvunblock.com - 104.131.127.184 / 192.241.137.65
PlaymoTV - 214.5.182.127 / 213.5.182.117 (will not work for PC browser)
jsheed_sa - 154.127.60.71

Thanx Yotch! You are like the wizard of all things DroidTV.

I will play around with the box as soon as I get it, but I think for my parents I am just going to stick to Netflix, they only want it to replace SABC  Maybe I will throw in the free Hulu app, but that is pretty much as complicated as I dare make it.

But it looks like I will have to order another one for myself come payday.

Quick question, can Android/XBMC play content directly of a network location? I am running a Raspberry Pi with XBMC now and I play everything of a microserver, mostly 720p. So if the DroidTV can do that on top of all the other features, I am sold.

i had a dream last night, that Jaque said "great news iceman, ill actually be in town on wednesday" lol :D
