The Droid TV thread

Jaque in cellular eg, if a tablet does Voice, ICASA wants to know about it. You get charged extra for that feature as it is an add on. The same i think would apply to WIFI. if you add wifi to the box, it should cost you more as a reseller as crazy as that sounds.

Do you honestly think ICASA were "tipped off" because we stock some wireless enabled devices? :)

They were told we sell devices that enable users to watch DSTV without a decoder

And the worst part is, they are right (guilty)

Here's the app that lets you do it (with a valid DSTV subscription) -> https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.supersport.android.phone&hl=en

Somebody posted yesterday to say that app doesn't work so I am a bit confused.

MXIIIs are fine, there's no wireless stickers on the packaging, but all the remotes, etc. were taken
Strange to say the least. And yes, I'm sure somebody tipped off ICASA, because they don't just randomly appear unless they have been informed. Perhaps an annoyed My BB member who also tried selling DROID boxes, but because AV is top notch they got upset. I'm just guessing, as I like solving mysteries. Used to be known as Sherlock Holmes back in the day :D

Apologies if I'm interrupting here, but if I can just ask wrt to that mobdro app,
I've tried it for some time now on my Cloudgate Android device, and the lip sync issues are pretty bad. I mean were talking Shakira she-wolf at the 2010 world cup bad. All other apps work fine. Showbox is ace.
So my question is do the MXIII's have this issue as well with that particular app.

Ok guys this thread has convienced me. Been talking about it so much that my one friend at work also wants to buy one. Will place the order tonight, hopefully I can get it by Tuesday

Hi Vernon, my MXIII box plays Modbro fine with no issues.
No lip synch issues from what I can tell.

"- Due to the way pairing is done with the controllers, you need to manually pair your controller with the PC utility 'SixaxisPairTool' (available on the website) and a mini-USB cable. Android 3.1+ users can also pair directly on their devices via USB."

Connect the contoller to the MXQ with a USB cable

@AvSupply Glad you are okay after the mix up this afternoon, we need more people like you in this world.
Not less

Whatever you just said above, excuse me if I sound dumb like Jvans maths, but whaaaat? I thought this would be a controller on my phone right, like a virtual keypad, then connect the phone to the MXQ via BT, and play games? no?

I finally got my MXQ yesterday :P and I am very happy with the look and feel. One problem though. :|

Every few seconds my screen flashes black, like there is no input and then goes back to normal. What I have tried so far. disabled "auto detect tv" and I set the Resolution and Refresh rate to TV's native. which is 1080P 50hz. still no luck.

Any help will be much appreciated.

Have you tried another HDMI input or cable?
