Is there away to have Amazon Video play on the Mibox?
Sideloaded the app, the Amazon Underground but still couldn't get it to play.
 
Guys, can anyone advise me please, I need to replace my mother in laws Roku stick as it has officially given up the ghost, i have R1500 max to spend but want the best possible box for that price that is not overly complicated for her. Must play whatever i can throw at it and stream netflix in 1080 and be plex ready too. I have a wired connection at her tv so preferably an ethernet port too.

So many damn boxes out there i simply dont know which to choose.
 
Hi guys, any ideas on how to get DSTV now working on my MXIII S802? I've installed the stock Tronsmart ROM 4.4.2, uninstalled SU's (Kingoroot route), enabled widevine and still getting rooted device message. Any other ideas or ROM's to try?

how is the mi box horrible at plex? so far the mi box is winning the race to be honest and i dont mind changing from plex but its been used for ages now and is familiar. how does the mi box fail at plex?

Also I have a wired connection at that point of the house however I see the mi box has no ethernet port but you can use a ethernet adapter/hub - anyone done this or had any issues with doing this?

I've used a USB 2.0 to Ethernet Adapter, and it keeps on disconnecting to the internet.
Ordered a USB 3.0 and will see how that one functions.

I worded it incorrectly, Plex is horrible on the Mi Box, the Mi Box is fine, the Plex app on the Mi Box sucks, it can't play surround files without skipping or playing at weird frame rates etc.

Just Google "Plex Mi Box" you will find a ton of reddit posts and posts on the Plex forum of complaints with various issues, yet when you use the Plex add on with Kodi it works perfectly, you can even set Kodi to boot straight into the Plex add on so it's not too bad I suppose.
