Yeah some have reported success others not it's strange could also be the app you used maybe accounted for other things that some apps don't I presume...

Believe it or not, it worked the very first time I installed it. :crylaugh: I'll try and find the name of the app, I was dronk when I did it, and even more surprised when it worked immediately. LOL

EDIT: I think this is the app. It was the first goddamned search result and it worked. :crylaugh:
 
Hey guys, I'm sorry if this was mentioned before but this thread is long. I just got a Zidoo x7 and so far everything is great but I can't get Hulu and Netflix to work.

I have Unotelly running on my router and both apps work fine on my Roku, PC and TV.

They both open but when you try and play an episode it gives you an error. Any ideas?

Netflix doesn't work with any/most dns/vpn providers so don't bother and stick with the SA version. With Hulu I would try Getflix.

That's the strange thing, I am trying to use local Netflix and Hulu works on everything else in my house except this Android box.
 
What are current best versions for DSTV now and Supersport? I'm currently on 1.6.4 and 4.1.3
 
Just came across this thread. Too much info to digest for a newbie, started with the first posts in 2014 and then realized a lot of info from that time is outdated due to speed everything has been moving. Then tried to read last few pages.

Questions:- for sept 2017

Which is the best box to buy under R2K that will allow for future upgrades and supports latest video standards, Kodi, DSTV, Netflix natively in HD or 4K etc and has AndroidTV OS and not android for phones.

Which are the best local suppliers if we don’t want to buy from overseas directly. Looks like AVsupply doesn’t do boxes anymore. I bought a migica and returned it.

Is it possible to use an android box fully without a mouse or remote mouse once setup?
 
If the hype is true then the Telkom Lit box is going to be the way to go. No importing needed, costs R1100, has ethernet and runs android 7. It's Google certified and has widevine drm level 1 which means full HD for apps like Netflix.

Without a doubt Gearbest.

Choose the international version of the MiBox and then shopping through Aramex, takes around 7 days to arrive and customs are around R200-R250, delivery to your door.

Second this, I'm really keen to try it once its up for grabs!

Second to this I still back my MiBoxes, couldn't be happier with them and the current setup.

Hi there, maybe you can help me out.

I am looking for a device i can use to stream dstv now. Which device would you recommend and where can i get it. Also, can i use a raspberri pi. I only want dstv now, the others(netflix, showmax, plex, youtube) i already have on the xbox.

The entire thread has a few devices on hand that can be researched, I have found more than enough success with a MiBox

I am using my MyGica, although the SuperSport app does not work, DSTV Now has a LIVE section where the sport is shown anyway.
