I tried. It looks good, but the app hangs sometimes when I press play too quickly, and the sound is terribly soft. On a Lit Box.
very odd. works smoothly for me on my Lit Box, no audio issue whatsoever.
Restart the box.Hi folks , just downloaded Dstv now on my MI Box , proceeds to login but getting the below error.
Dstv Now downloaded straight from play store (latest version) not sure what the issue is can anyone assist?

Got my mi box delivered today. Can't wait to set it up.
Need to buy one - from where and what did you buy? How long did it take to deliver?

Fast & efficient service. Had to wait for stock & eventually paid on Friday. Handed to the courier on Monday and I got it today.

From GEARBEST. It took 7 days and R500 less...
BREAKDOWN:
Gearbest price: $69.90 (R833.23)
Shipping (priority with tracking): $6.60 (R78.67)
Import Taxes: R277.84
TOTAL: 1189.74
Thus, R608.26 saving. And it takes +/- 6 days longer.
Sometimes, it can get stuck in customs. I find if you ship over the end of the month it takes longer...

PS - But (IMHO) if you really want a better box go for the LIT. It is more up-to-date and you have local support, meaning if it is faulty, you just walk into the store you bought it at and exchange happens immediately. No return shipping, no hassles, no problems... AND, you will support local business (Although I hate everything Telkom), in return you will get further development, more stable products and the Netflix niggle will sort themselves out quite soon...
AND AT R1050, you can live without GOOGLE VOICE SEARCH REMOTE, which is a dam hassle in anycase...
WHAT MAKES THE LIT BETTER:
More USB ports.
ETHERNET!!!
Updated OS 7.1.4 vs 6 from MI.
Better USB support.
BUT, this is just my opinion... I have both, so I know what I am talking about.

prop just have an easier accent have seen some people with the ever so slightest accents struggle endlessly with simple search terms.For me... Netflix is the huge problem...

About a week's worth of the mi box experience now. No problems this far, it is a nifty gadget. Played everything I've thrown at it thus far. Casting is seamless.

Just a FYI for upcoming questions on your screenshot. SuperSport was dropped the moment we got a proper app for DSTV Now and Android TV hence the unavailability. DSTV Now is 1000x better than that SuperSport App was.
