Any idea when the Final vote is going to be in?

I say votes will be "confirmed" friday afternoon for the Saturday papers. But the results will be pretty solid by tomorrow morning I think.

there isn't a single vote count in the EThekwini area... :/

Are you saying people shouldn't hold the party they voted for accountable?

They should, and the only reasonable way to do that is to remove them from power. Anything else is idiotic.

Wow this is quite a bad result, just over 50% of votes counted but ANC already at +- 63%... At this rate they'll go into the high sixties range.

They're planning on announcing the final results on Saturday. Officially. We'll have a pretty good idea before then, obviously.

That's the point. They aren't.

Weird isn't it? Sitting in drivers license queue at the mo, wish it was as quick as the voting yesterday.

Very.my polling station has a 1000 registered voters and that isn't even up yet.

Last I looked earlier at the cities, city of Jhb was also not counted yet. One would think their results would start flowing first.....especialy with ballot boxes in agent houses :p

Im pretty sure they will leave jhb to last. Anc and da are having a fight at the iec about what what and who who. Or so I assume

Find it weird how the ANC is still over 60% after all the protesting, limpopo problems and people saying they not going to vote for them again.

They must not strike and complain again since this is what they voted for.

You hold them accountable by voting for somebody else if they fail to deliver. This isn't rocket science...

That only works if the party that you voted for was in power.

31.73% of potential votes counted nationally in 54.38% of voting districts. ANC has 62.94% national, and DA 22.77% atm.

Hope the rate changes but at this rate by 16:20 the estimated ANC percentage is 64.092% Hope I'm wrong though.
