The Electronic Music Thread

I'm probaly the last guy on earth to check them out, but Air is just such a perfect band:airy(duh), ambient, poppy and >>>Daft Punk.

^ Well i'm quite new to 'em but i'd say they're anything but repetetive:

Compare Moon Safari with Talkie Walkie for example.

Thanks man. Well Supernova did well and even made it into the German, UK and French official radio playlist charts when it was released in 2005/2006. Made it to #27 in the dance charts in UK which I often regard as more of an achievement than the soundclick charts. However I sometimes forget that soundclick has over 250,000 tracks in its charts and I made it to #450. It still charts every now and then so some people still enjoy it. Personally I'm not too keen on it anymore so am going to spice it up 2008 style soon with a techier remix for 2009 release. Some of those tracks have been on the charts since 2004 though, which maybe I should regard as an achievement as well...

Yo... I would like to do some work on that track of yours... '2008 it up' so to speak.

Let me know if you're keen.

Sure, I am. Let me know what you need, but I cant guarantee a release for you. PM me with some of your tracks...;)

Some names i found in an EM mag:

Matmos(the kind of electronic i think PP was talking about.)

The Orb(kind of poppy, quite popular.)

Robert Rich(Big gun)

Ian Boddy(another big gun)

The league of automatic music composers(can't find them on Lastfm, Wiki or Youtube.)

Fannis Xenaxis(same as above, i'm intrigued, because he(?) apparently wrote a program which converts images into music.)

Furt Plus

WHAT? didn't even know about colab with Bjork.

any particulars i could check out?

The whole album?I've listenend to it, never realised.

I feel like such a tool.

For those house fans, check out Alex Kidd - Feel This Free (Main Mix)

The best ever Madonna remix, ever IMO!!! Awesomeness. Not really house per say, but cross-over techy trance that could very well be dropped in a tech-house set...

Hi some more names:

Worldwide group corporation(awesome chillout.)

Junkie XL(more dancy, poppy)

Radio Massacre International(i'm not sure what to call it, def. has ambient atmosphere.)

Burnt Fur(retro 80's electro pop.)

Evol Intent(drum and bass)
