That doesn't mention voltage though? If you're looking for a normal 10w LED floodlight, I picked up 4 for that price at ACDC. Tiny things but the light they give off is impressive.
Brand?

I am trying to avoid Chinese makes, going for brands that have a reputation.

Thanks man.

Will look into it.

Do you have the 10w 12v?

And is used connected to a solar powered setup?
I don't have the 10w 12v :-( I want to get one to try hooking it up to a test solar system, but since load shedding has been back the prices of things is going up :-(

I am building a wall with columns at home.
I actually wanted to build these lights inside the columns, flush against the bricks.
But I guess in terms of maintenance, It's best to have it mounted against the wall.

You could build them flush with the bricks, if there is a grommet or something around it, these from ACDC are really tiny.

I have the Chinese ones

Brand is hello today or something. They work perfectly.
All LEDs are chinese ones :) just some of them have someone else stick a sticker on it afterwards!

Check the hours on the warranty at least they might pretend to be better quality then (not the years, but the HOURS run time, some say 5 years (at 0.7 hours per day!))

Anyone with recommendations for installers of Aircons in JHB? I've spoken to 5 different people and got 5 different prices for the units.

New ceilings going up this week, rain damage from last weeks storm :-(. Also tested those LED floodlights from ACDC express, tiny little things but the amount of light is amazing.

I want to seal my walls with a gloss brick sealer but they were messed up when I had the windows replaced.

Is there any way to get the hazy grey plaster off? Tried scrubbing but it takes forever.

Go to any hardware and ask for a product called mortar off. Along with some scrubbing will do the trick. Can also try spirit of salts

BTW, if any one is looking a builder extraordinaire that can build a house from scratch. I know this Guy from Malawi. He literally repaired my entire house in the last 3 months.

  1. Called him to sort out roof leak and patio roof issue. Very quickly, based on discussions I had with many other vendors, I knew this guy knew what he was talking about because he confirmed what they said but also picked up some issues which the other guys never did. Example: He picked the root cause issue on my patio roof and remediated it where the universal roofing and other guys wanted to charge $$$ to fix. His fix cost about R2k with materials!
  2. It ended up extended to all the other work :-
    1. Garage floor completely redone - concrete with rebar, etc
    2. Patio / Pool Area Rebuild - previous guys did not put concrete (hence my issues) New Coping, new floor around pool/patio on two sides of house, tiling etc
    3. Paving: again reused my paving but it looks so much better
    4. Damp proofing around house - USB green plastic
    5. New storm water management (hence paving had to be redone
    6. New windows/door installation
There was one disaster where his chaps destroyed my pool cover and which I am still angry about, but his work is top notch and cost effective. Even with the cost to repair pool cover, he is so much cheaper. Only problem is you may end up doing all the work to get materials and sometimes tools like compactor, etc

He operates in the Joburg Sandton/Fourways region but should be able to travel further than that. He is looking for work. If you want his deets, drop me an email.

Pic is what he did around my pool area - the retaining wall was heightened by two bricks too if it is not so apparent.
