Its been a tons of fun cutting a piece to fit...especially considering its only 8mm wide.

Haven't actually done the panel pins yet, plan on doing that next, probably going to drill a tiny guide for them. I suppose I could just do one every 10cm or so and hope it holds.

Drilling a hole for them is going to defeat the purpose.. nails work on friction and giving them a hole to go into is going to dramatically reduce the friction..

Half the width of the panel pin? I'm worried the damn wood splits

I saw when I removed the clamps that its pretty solid with just the glue.

I tried adding the smallest panel pin I could find (1.4s) - amd the shitty pine started splitting, I drilled .5mm guide holes and opened the tops with a 1.5mm drill bit - filled the holes with wood glue, and slowly hammered in the panel pins.

Pretty confident it'll hopefully be staying put.

2x local handyman I got in (because I'm tired of this sort of ****) - wanted to scrap the door, saying it can't be fixed because of where/how it broke.

What is the cement/filler they put around the glass? You can see a bit of it in the above pic between the decent wood and pine.

So decided to top up my pool from the well point.. 20 minutes later the area around where the well point water is dumping into is going green.. hasn't happened before, i.e late summer that's passed..

Metals in the water..? Or instant algae for some weird reason..?

Do you need some meranti?

Not anymore.

Now i need glass just came from PG Glass, R480 for the small piece, and they expect me to collect in Paarl... I'm in Blouberg.
I have 2 windows that have cracked.
Glass is fsck expensive. I am too scared to get prices on mine.

This one is 2.8m x 2m. It is behind the blinds so I never see it. Does not bother me.

This one not sure on the size. But its floor to ceiling.

Enough about glass, can we get onto pools now please...^^^

What do you guys use to get rid of these? Obviously don't want to kill the lawn under, but they're starting to spread.
