Okay finally figured it out, I had a similar issue to this:

Seems to have happened when the Apple Music was downloading and didn't sync properly afterwards, resulting in corrupted data. Had to install some weird application that allowed me to delete certain iTunes folders from the phone...what a mission.

Just have to resync my iCloud library now but at least everything is working again.

Weird I would think just signing out and back in so the library resets would resolve that.
 
Pretty good overall.

I like the new app switching animation. Feels faster even if it's just an illusion

Yep thought so too, but no dice. Actually did everything I could think of short of resetting on the phone itself. I couldn't even restore a backup from iTunes since the space on the phone was registering @ full.
 
So i never got 11.0.1 as I had the 11.1 Public GM installed. Today I see 11.1 public beta available?

Why didnt i get 11.0.1. Should i plug into itunes and update. What am i doing wrong here, this is the first time i sign up for public beta's. How do i cancel? :)

Go to Settings> General>Profiles and delete the beta profile.
 
Thanks, just did that now but it still only shows 11.1 beta. No 11.0.1. Really need to fix this battery issue. Charging more often is really annoying.

Do you have a backup from before 11.1? Since you already had 11.1 installed it won’t allow you to downgrade afaik. You have to either restore a backup or wait for public release to catch up to 11.1

At least this is what I remember from a year or so ago

Yes, I know i do backup :). Need to plug in on i tunes tonight and check when was the last one.
 
I'm finding 11.1 beta to be a smoother experience in general. No 5 second hang after locking and immediately unlocking any more.

Anyone else notice their BT turning itself on? Happened a couple of times now, I look and its on.

Mine is always on for my watch so can't say.
Be sure to switch it off in Settings, if you only switch it off in control centre it will switch back on after a while, or that's how I understand the new feature to work anyway. Same with Bluetooth and wifi, switching off from control centre only disconnects from the specific network and doesn't switch off completely.

You have to switch it off in settings.

Also if your phone restarts it switches itself back on.

Very little point to having it off on the new standards of Bluetooth.
