Tech is supposed to get cheaper over time. It's just metal and plastic with a bit of software after all. Improved manufacturing processes and economies of scale should have driven prices down instead of up. Yeah costs can go up a bit with inflation but this is almost non-existent in USA.

Not entirely. Most of your lineup gets cheaper but the flagships usually keep up with inflation.

. And, I have not missed the Apple once. Feature for feature, there is no real difference. The only difference is the speed at which my apps launch from a hardware perspective.

Couldn’t be further from the truth for me.

Also switched to a cheaper android for a few months and feature for feature the difference is massive and I simply couldn’t stand the experience.

My life was broken for it. And this from someone who uses a lot of Google services.

Hardware was hardly relevant as I’m quite happy on an iPhone 6 right now which costs next to nothing and compares with cheap androids price wise.

Integration into your Apple TV and Watch? I use a smart watch and TV too, and never have any issues with integration. Most IoT devices already seamlessly integrate with my phone with no issues through an API, which is exactly what Apple does.

Yeah I did that too with a Android TV + Android Phone.

It’s also a sub par broken experience compared to the Apple way.

Cheap is cheap.

Also Android has massive UI Design fail that makes it impossible to use. Like putting everything useful at the top of apps (usually left with the hamburger menu for all Google specific apps) where you need to stretch all the way to these massive modern phones.

Complete user experience fail which Android people are oblivious to because they don’t know any better.

I think they are exactly like the iPhone people.

They have no intention of switching to Apple so that doesn’t exist to them. Within their Android realm they want to have the biggest/newest/best so everyone can see what they’ve got.

It’s no different than someone with an iPhone X looking down on everyone with a lesser iPhone.

Actually there isn't. My Polo is just a fraction of a millisecond slower than your Porsche, to the untrained eye looks exactly the same as yours and you'll struggle to find major differnces in features, comforts and safety.

By my count, that's 3 price increases (the Plus models are obviously priced differently) in eleven years... Four if you count the iPhone X which was a new phone and not the usual mid-life S update.

With the new Plus size coming in at the price of the old X at $999 and the new X being cheaper.

I drank the Apple Kool-Aid for a long time. Then I moved to Android, and don't see what the fuss is all about. The iPhone is extremely overpriced compared to the value I can get from cheaper handsets. But, I suspect the Apple phone is more about status than functionality or usability.

Apple is very usable. Yes it may be pricy but Samsung S series is just as expensive. People are in the either or group. Either you like android or you like apple. That's the kind and short of it.
