I have. Thinking there must me mistake in the MTN ipcc. Will have to go and read now how to edit ipcc's to see if i can find the problem. Can someone else confirm if they have the same problem.
 
ok that ipcc thing was easy. tethering works now.. reception is shocking where i am so cant really browse for **** - traceroutes a few hops then times out.

MMS isnt working now hmm.. keeps failing.

[edit] please dont try until confirmed - this fix isnt working for everyone

hmm i seem to remember them talking about one working, and the other one not working as a result..

eish all this .ipcc stuff is BS...
 
Another funny

My phone says "Searching" where the signal strength should be. Also no carrier now. But it show connected to 3G.. I can call and browse and tether still. :erm: weird.
 
just loaded the text logo ipcc and my gf sent me an mms, and my mms was attempting to send (all at the same time), hers arrived and then mine went thru as i changed the IPCC - and now its not working again :( im not in the mood to debug :P

I'm sure we will get a working .ipcc up soon enough though!

They've managed for AT&T with both working..

@roland.theron & morkhans: any idea what exactly is causing the problem or one working and the other not?
 
How do I get the Vodacom carrier image? I've got OS 3.0 off iTunes now now....

sorry, this thread is 300 pages long, have trouble finding things...
 
hmm i just put the graphic ipcc back, switched off the phone, switched it on again, now MMS is working without a problem I just sent 2

[edit] please dont try until confirmed - this fix isnt working for everyone

seems to have done the trick - reboot your phone once u load the ipcc; i just sent 3 mms's without a prob

as i've warned (repeatedly)

DO NOT USE ANY OF THE IPCC'S FOR PAST BETAS WITH THIS RELEASE

on iPhone 3G it damages all data connectivity to the phone when the phone is on 3G, mms and tether works, but only on edge/gprs, and that sucks

don't use ipcc's, just manually enter the mms settings on the phone, then restart the phone, and then mms will work

Any idea how long it takes to work? Put my settings in hours ago, rebooted a couple of times too!
