OK I installed ActivateMMS2G from Cydia. Entered the mms settings manually(from the first post of this thread), but seems i cant send or receive MMS yet (tried with Wi-Fi on and off)
Anyone else had luck with this yet?

where did you enter the settings??

settings ->network ->cellular data network?

or does the app have some other configuration front end?

if it is the one that integrates with the regular txt app, and the place you entered the settings is the one mentioned above, your phone needs a reboot, then the camera icon will be available when you compose a new message in the msg app

I did exactly that, if you don't reboot, the camera icon is not visible. But the app has no front end, it just enables the MMS for you. It is also integrated into BiteSMS, also no luck. I uninstalled Swirly (borrowed version) before installing the hack, so there is no conflicts, especially in receiving MMS, but no luck.
Who else has a 2G that can help me test, maybe I'm missing something
I can confirm that it didnt screw up anything on my phone (yet :D), but basically enables you only to add MMS in settings ->network ->cellular data network, and once rebooted, camera icon is visible

Ahh thanks - pitty it is not free ;)

I use a cracked version, and before you flame me, there's no way in hell I'd buy an $80+ app before trying, my verdict so far: The app works well, but I won't pay that much for it... I'd hold out for some competition first and then see what's the best bet.

I am guessing this is just a blank .ipcc that enables those options in the Settings. I remember playing around with the values in the old ipcc, settings values from '0' to '1' used to enable mms in the Cellular Data tab...

From where? :) I agree

Download the ipa from: http://appulo.us/appdb/

App Name: Sygic (Mobile Maps Australia & New Zealand - Turn-by-Turn Voice Guided GPS Navigation)
SA Map Download link: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=EIICXPOF

Replace the Map File with this one:
\private\var\mobile\applications\(look for the sygic app)\Sygic Australia & New Zealand.app\map\aus\

"You can also edit the info.plist file so that it shows Sygic South Africa (or whatever you want to call it) on the iPhone dashboard, instead of Sygic NZ or Sygic Greece etc."

iPhone Dock

Do you guys know where I can find a iPhone Dock in Pta. Obviously the iStore would be one of them but the cost is prohibitive.

Basically want to use it to play audio from the iPhone while charging on the cradle.

Video out would be a bonus, but cheap is good. Have been running a 3.5 jack to 2 RCA cable but it does not look sexy.

Where can I get a cheap and cheerfull dock ?

Correction on my part: There's two versions in the iTunes Store, the one is $64.99 and the other one $79.99.

Turn by Turn is cool, but if these prices are an indication of what's to come I'm going to stick to cracks, surely justifying +-R600 for an app (with NO hardware) is ridiculous. I'd pay that amount or more if they included a window bracket or something...
