I'm in Mac now guys. Created 3GS firmware with activate unchecked

Creating one with activate checked now for those that used UltraSn0w etc.

Then will upload after

EDIT: 1% of the 3G(S) Activate Unchecked firmware.

EDIT2: Hmm at 25% still says an hour..

Will post the links here when I get back from rAge a bit later on!

Next question, how do I get Cydia onto the phone after I have downloaded the correct file and broken?

I think these are 3gs firmwares anyway - you can get the pwnage tool for the 3g - been out for a while already. You'll need fw specifically for the 3g, not the 3gs.

@assagai - do you not wish to share the link for others?

if anyone needs me to upload 3.1 for 3G(s) factory unlocked or ultrasnow unlocked phones let me know and i will upload, otherwise there's no point.

All I wanna know is:
I have a 3GS AT&T locked.. who do I pm to get a link to JB and Unlock my 3GS? all these posts are sooo confusing!

You will need the 3.1 firmware I made on my Mac using PwnageTool, unless you have a mac, then simply check iClarified for the guide on how to do it using PwnageTool.

You will need the one with the Activation option selected as yours is unofficially unlocked.

so how do I get it? cap is not a matter :)

and how will I sync my apps? heard appsync doesnt work?
 
The iClarified tutorial states: "If you have a 3.0 iPhone you must jailbreak it"

Does this mean a 3.1 3Gs (no bits on file with Cydia, Vodacom unit) cannot be jailbroken using this? I don't believe it is the case, but can anobody confirm?

you have to be running 3.0/3.0.1 in order to JB to 3.1 (as far as I have read!)
