Sharepod works a treat for transferring stuff and it's free and only an exe which makes it portable on mem stick.

The "R click transfer purchases" process, is that to transfer my apps back to new iTunes installation ?

hey folks

i'm in Paris Charles de Gaulle, waiting for my connection, just a heads up, you'll be hearing a lot less from me, as of tomorrow i'm a permanent resident in the USA... my iPhone's going home :)

b.t.w., anyone else pick up on the cr@p with maximuscards? they want to verify your address now as a US address or they are threatening to report fraudulent itunes accounts to apple, rather annoying when you're trying to get enough itunes credit together to buy tomtom usa... lol

UNACCEPTABLE ROLAND! You will make a plan to pop in and say hello! :D;):p

I've only used mediawob to purchase iTunes credit, but that won't be a problem for you now as a permanent US resident :)

Does that mean you getting an AT&T contract with an unlimited data plan? :cool:

:) yes this was quite a process to get my 1.1 working.. Will have to try and remember what I did and do the same.

Will let you guys know when it's done, probably on the weekend.
 
is anyone having problems with vodacom lately with sms'? it's been lagged when i receive sms'. i would only get them maybe 10-15 mins later and i'd have to call my voicemail to get like some "connection" to the network for them to come through.

i went to a vodacom store and the guy said it happens to everyone, great answer.

running 3.1.2 jb with ultrasn0w. shouldn't be the problem? any suggestions?

That was the plan, but to my horrid disappointment the company gave me a blackberry on arrival, urgh ;( will remedy that asap...

Ps, mediawob has placed a 5 day hold on my transaction for fraud prevention... Dammit, I want tomtom USA now!!!!
