I agree. We always used to have a program like this for the iPhone until it got stopped :p Glad something similar is back :)

Remote is also incredibly good! Works great with my AppleTV and as an iTunes remote! And its free!!

Transfer files to your iPhone at high speeds

MUCH quicker than SSH as it transfers the files over USB!
You will just need to set permissions using WinSCP / Putty if needed as this program cant do that (as far as i know)

Full tutorial with all files needed here - http://code.google.com/p/t-pot/wiki/Installation

I use nothing else to transfer my files to the iPhone now!

Note: If your iPhone does not get picked up sometimes by Total Commander, unplug , and plug in the USB cable and try and access the iPhone (T-Pot) again!

Give it a try!!

Thanks for the heads up, so no need for SSH now?

Your welcome :)

Well i still use it just to set permissions and that.. But as far as file transfers are concerned, i dont see a need for SSH anymore :p
Not fair! We dont all have a whole stable of Macs! :)

Whats not fair? Are you referring to the Remote app? If so, it works for your Windows PC iTunes also :)

I have the full version let me put it that way :p

:o Naughty naughty.... :p

Very nice app . Only downside is the price.. $20 with no support for the premium version.. $50 with 6 months support

Nice app though! Download the trial from Cydia and check it out for yourself!

The only thing I've bought so far was Super Monkey Ball which I regret, I purchased it by accident while I was viewing it but I'll rather "demo" something before I buy it. ;)

Hey guys.. Just thought id share some apps that i found useful for firmware 2.0.1

Cydia:

-iReboot: Reboot and respring your iPhone at the touch of a button (Respring does take longer since firmware 2, so dont think it's just you)

BigBoss prefs will also do that for you :)

How to Increase the Volume of Your 2.0.1 iPhone

These are instructions on how to increase the volume on your 2.0.1 iPhone using the iClarified Cydia source. Remember your iPhone speaker isn't very powerful so it will only be a slight improvement but its better then before :) Also note that those in regions with restricted volume levels will see more of a difference!
