@limnos - how do you forward sms?

Download an app from Cydia called biteSMS. If you want, you can select it to be your default sms application by setting it in the settings. Make sure you select 'Use Mobile Carrier' as a gateway and not biteSMS's...

Does anyone use Categories?

I used to use but I didn't like the fact the I couldn't delete an app that was in a Category, so I removed it.

Why is that?

What about Dock?

Dock is pretty cool, but I noticed that it loads apps like a second or two longer than opening it normally from the SpringBoard - so I removed that too.

What is quite a nifty app is QuickGold from Cydia's Featured. It's a very helpful search tool.

Correct

I started using it after a geek test I read. One of the lines was "quoting excepts from RCF's to your SO while reading in bed".

@morkhans, yep it is quite similar but if you read the forum on the bitesms website you will notice way more development going on there...

I read somewhere that they trying to join forces with Swirly and join the apps into one..

thats odd... mine seem to load a second or two quicker!! no really

just dont like the fact that u have to have a 2icon dock + Dock app for it to look neat..

No the upgrade is free, only iPod Touch users pay for it. My sig has instructions on getting a US account but there are no free codes left.

google free itunes US account (just got capped so i cant give u a link) for a free US iTunes account without having to enter in any credit card info.

Hi,

My apologies if these questions have been answered already but I am unable to go through 53 pages to find my answers.

1. Is there Skype for the iPhone?
2. Can one use Hotmail on the iPhone without having to upgrade to the pay version of Hotmail?
3. Does the GPS work for South Africa, if so how?
4. How can one zoom in on a web page?
5. Can one see how many characters one has typed when smsing?
6. How does one change the screen saver?
