Yeah my BT headset, in fact both of them work fine
 
I remember back in my HTC days, there was a bluetooth registry hack in the HKLM, that would enable you to increase the microphone sensitivity and speaker volume of that actual bluetooth headset - trying to look for something for the iPhone that would work.....

Haven't been any lucky.... Anyone care to help?
 
How do I browse the web with no record of what I was looking at being stored on the phone. And I mean ABSOLUTELY NO RECORD AT ALL EVER!

They are asking R400 more for the iPhone on pre-paid than Vodacom, what's up with that?

Does anybody here know how to sync a Turbo sim 3g Iphone without Itunes picing up :"invalid sim" :confused:

Well, I'd suggest syncing contacts and calendar via exchange active sync on your mail account settings, as for syncing music, have a look at sourceforge project ml ipod, it's a media library plugin for win amp, that provides native ipod support, it syncs video, photo and music, been using it on my ipod classic for about a year now, and it's a waaaaaay nicer sync tool than itunes, one snag though, since the 2.0 and up firmware, ml ipod developers have been frantically trying to get the plugin compatible again, no luck yet, but they are aparantly getting there, so, will hopefully be up and running again soon

music sync to me isn't the most important thing, as the 160 gig classic has my whole library on it, i do like having my photo library on me though, can be nifty at times....

anyways, point is, if ml ipod gets their compatibility sorted out, iphone users can actually go itunes free all together (well, sort of, there will inevitably be the need for a firmware upgrade at some point or other)

here's one though, does anyone know if there's a way to sync (preferably via wifi) your contacts and calendar with outlook on a laptop/pc, not using exchange active sync?
 
I figured the syncing out with turbo sim out :D Eject the simtray - not all the way - just pop it up with the little tool. Plug your phone into itunes & sync happily , when you are done just push it back in ;)

Sounds like a schlep... you import your iPhone3G? I would rather by the unlocked one from Vodacom.

With regards to the turbosim, I never needed to do that with my iPhone2G the turbosim allowed me to sync.

Have you tried simply putting the phone in Airplane mode and then connecting it to iTunes?
 
@ Aqua_lung - Yea I imported quite a few I wanted to make a quick buck and also wanted to keep 1 for myself and be one of the first .I'm actually happy with my 1st gen phone, Quickpwn work like a bomb. To eject the sim is not too much of a mission - If you wanna sync every day it could become a mission.

@ fxit_man - Good thinking dude - I thought the same :D when you activate airplane mode it works fine - but when you deactivate it the phone picks up "inavlid sim" so you would have to pop up the sim anyway:mad:
 
I've uploaded 3 ringtones (to you know where) maybe others can submit ringtones too.

To use the ringtones just add them to your iTunes library.
