I see MPlayer for iPhone has been released on Cydia - write up not so good though. Supposed to play various formats including WMV and MP4 files.

if i want to play the music for more players, what should i do?

I have an idea he means another type of portable music player, I've also wondered if iTunes can sync music to anything other than an apple portable, as i have a 30 gig zen as well, and i used to sync all my devices with winamp, (the zen, and a 60 gig iPod classic), now that winamp can't sync to the iPhone, i'm forced to use iTunes, and i have to figure out a way to duplicate my music library (without loosing the ever so precious ratings which aren't saved in the mp3 tag) so that iTunes and winAmp have the exact same library

to answer your Q Vanbrom, if you do indeed mean a different type of mp3 player, have a look at winamp, it has a great portable sync plugin built in that works for most devices, and they keep assuring users that iPhone support is coming soon... (they have been saying that for a while though...)

I have however found that winamp's great for all other devices, and if you install the ml_ipod plugin (sourceforge), it also supports all iPods (not iphones), and can sync movies, podcasts and photos to any iPod

i'm not sure whether to get the iphone on contract or prepaid. The contract looks nice, but is it easy to chow the 250mb? I probably wont use up the 100smses and 120free minutes.

there is no way in hell im reading 130 odd posts i recon you just love reading hey:eek:

132 pages of about 10 posts each actually, see, late in the 19'th century they developed this really useful technology that allows you to quite effectively find what you're looking for by just specifying the right criteria, you'll find a rather clever implementation of this in the forum header (top of the page), it's labelled "search this tread", amazingly enough, if you enter what you're looking for the 132 pages are reduced to about 10 pages, and quite often the result you were looking for ends up being at the top.....

You could always skip all this and just have read the very first post

Just a thought, use it, don't use it....

Somebody here uses stanza - (not going to look through 130 pages ;) ) anyway, its been updated - now features coverflow and you can add book covers .

Brilliant app - was totally floored that it reads MS .LIT format - I have about 100 .LIT novels that need to be read sometime.

I'm also very much impressed with it, only thing is to find the time to read all the books I downloaded lol.

I had that problem with MTN messages which I could only retrieve after the update to v128 - they all gave an error - not sure if its the same error though. All working fine now.
