I think it would be good idea if fxit_man added instructions about pwning/jailbreaking to the first post for the newbies.

aaaaah

finally someone who is starting to get as annoyed as i do by those who ask before they try anything at all...

It is an intimidating task for some to jailbreak the iPhone - especially if you have just paid 6.5 k for the thing and there are so many guides available and a lot of them are not for the current software - so it could be confusing - getting advise on myadsl forum is usually the best and can be trusted.
I think just a link to the iclarified guides in the first post would be a good idea.

The Concise Oxford English Dictionary

Looking for an app that allows me to save SMS's - anything available that does not have issues with SwirlyMMS.
Thanks.

New MacBooks Disable PwnageTool??

eports suggest that PwnageTool has been disallowed from detecting an iPhone in DFU Mode on the new MacBooks, according to a Gizmodo report.

http://www.iclarified.com/entry/index.php?enid=2181

The Dev Team have probably found a work round to this already :)

Apparenty it's not firmware related, but instead the build of iTunes that came along with the new MacBooks...

Is anybody using iLocalis?
It is a very nice app to track the whereabouts of your phone.
Just one question... when i change settings on the iLocalis website, it has
'Pending commands to send to iPhone on next connection:'
These commands only go through once the iPhone has been rebooted. Does anyone know any other way to get this info through to phone? I Tried to respring - doesnt work. :(

How many of you guys use biteSMS as your default SMS app?

I changed to Bite due to the landscape mode - only started using it this week. On some other forum - macrumours to be exact - a guy said you can forward SMS's with bite but I don't see this unless I'm looking in the wrong place?

Ok to forward what you do is swipe from left to right on the actual text. So basically swipe your finger across the written text. Let me know if you need help.
I cannot find the new version of Bite though
