Anyone else on beta 3 unable to get to Settings | General | Cellular Data Network? I just keep crashing back to the springboard, even after a fresh boot.

been doing this since beta 3 was released, it's a known issue

will probably be sorted by the next release sometime next week
 
The new News24 app is really cool.

All the other apps (cars24, finance25, etc ) are all there. :)
 
Phone not showing any notifications

Don't know if any of you have experienced this, but my phone does not show any notifications, not on the icon itself and not in the status bar. I have to respring, then it shows the notification.

I have no idea what is causing this, but its driving me insane , luckily I have intelliscreen so I can atleast see the new messages

You sure that's not whats causing the problem?

Apparently a lot of new apps have incompatibility problems with intelliscreen. Have you tried disabling it?

I agree!! This is one of my favourite apps on the iPhone =)

They did an excellent job - well done Media24 group!!

And Gothan, IntelliScreen is a no-no.. I've heard so many ppl (read on int. forums) that it causes such problems with the OS itself, and other apps. There is a reason why it isn't in the AppStore...

Def intelliscreen causing the probs - I removed it after about 1 day.

Yip I did, that was the first thing I disabled (and later uninstalled)

if only their editors spent as much time reading the reports before they were published as what was spent on this app, the content would be up to scratch as well...

u guys ever notice how many grammatic/spelling mistakes they make?

phoned them again on friday, they said to just be patient, and they'll be in touch...

u think i should cancel and just buy you guys a bunch of udid slot's on someone else's dev account? i've had immediate access to all the beta releases to date, so it's not as tricky as we thought
 
Does anyone know what the little "M" symbol is that has appeared next to my battery icon? It appeared a day or so ago, and I don't know what it is.
 
Hmm. Could be. I have swirly but don't use it. Tried to uninstall it a couple of days ago but it kept saying error can't uninstall. Any way I ca disable it?
 
Does anyone know of an app in cydia or the app store that will let make simple notes on the lock screen , not like a calender. And also not a long long process that involves creating text saving a picture then putting it as your wallpaper.. Almost like a to do app that puts the "to do's " on the lock screen? And what is your favorite themes for winter-board?

I use lock calender, and create a calender entry which then displays on my lock screen. Works great :) You can change the settings as well for lock calender to show events for the next week or two weeks, as well as appearance settings.

Try install CyDelete and hold down the icons until they jiggle and the black X appears on the home screen ( like you do to uninstall an AppStore apps ). This will let you uninstall apps the same way as you uninstall App Store apps.

Otherwise, SSH into the phone and just delete it manually
