The LONMIN share price thread

brave or stupid, there is a fine line :D

no offense :)

Like I said above...there is no certainty either way so calling someone brave or stupid shows more of your own ignorance than theirs.

It can go either way...nobody can guarantee anything, short of insider trading and even then it's not certain.

I realise that.

It's just grating my tits how people can speak with such certainty about things that aren't remotely guaranteed in any way.

Especially with Lonmin where they like to quote it as if analysts have said doom and gloom while meanwhile the majority have voted to Hold/Buy and only the minority to sell.

I think we all know with certainty, that the market hold ZERO certainty

take what people say here with some salt, I certainly do. I reserve my thought process for choosing shares, not for sharing on a forum to show how clever I am? :)

He he, true.

You are a brave man putting that much into Lonmin at this stage!

I put it another R20k this morning, bringing the total to R25k. I have a tight stop loss of R19.00 while the share price is hovering around R20.50

I've made most of my good trades on trends. There's clearly an uptrend and I'm on board ;)

R60 is about right ;)

My biggest issue is not going big enough, maybe it's my risk adverse nature. Exactly the same problem with my woolies and sasol shares. 12 % returns but didn't go big enough.

Well that's nothing to brag about :p
