united will sign players

remember there is also that black african oke from angola who looks a legend in the making

maybe they take him off loan duty

united will buy more players im sure

not sure we need them, if united could get nani a full time spot i fear for the rest of the EPL

ronaldo rooney and nani running at a defence would scare the kuk outta me :)

Yeah, that Angolan dude did look awesome. I heard he couldn't play due to work permit issues?

striker

cant think of name now but he scored something like 5 goals in the african cup of nations

i heard united had loaned him out will go google now though

Awesome. Thanks. Saha will probably get sold off. A real pity. He was pretty good but lost his touch which was probably due to all his injury problems. Same thing happened to Scholes - returned from injury and just wasn't the same guy. A real shame.

Indeed. Saha is made of biscuits. We need to offload him soon as well - which is a pity, cos in the 10 minutes or so that he was fit over the last few years he showed some promise.

Oh yeah. Another legend. That guy is still a good footballer even at the age of 40. Legend.

Too true. The 1998/99 season really was great. I was watching the season review the other day. Man we had some great players back then. Some truly awesome games and great goals. I wonder whether it will ever be repeated...

TBH, I don't think so. I was thinking about the current Man United team the other day. I noticed that when other teams score first against us, we struggle and hardly ever win. We barely managed to get draws at Middlesbrough and Blackburn. The old United would've still played excellent football and you knew that when they were 3 - 0 down that they would come back and win. Classic example was that game against Tottenham many years ago. This is where United is weak and where Arsenal have done better IMO. I watched them when they were 2 - 0 down to Bolton and only playing with 10 men, yet they played their heart out and won 3 - 2. I have yet to see this spirit in the current Man United team. They seem to wait until the last 10 minutes to want to do everything. Perhaps this is the disadvantage of being so good - always scoring first and having it easy, then when they concede first, it's like it's something new to them, and they struggle to get back into the game.

Indeed. That 5-3 game against Spurs. I remember it well. We were nowhere in the 1st half. Then, lead by Veron, having the best game he ever had for us, we walked all over them in the 2nd half. Good times. :)

guys lets be honest

the middles game write off as united not handling the conditions as well

come on the conditions where shocking so that game should be forgotten period

blackburn, how many chances hit the bar kicked off the line blocked by a blackburn players arm with no penalty

blackburn where like portsmith

united tried everything to score but the ball would just not go over the line

i dont believe for one second we struggled against blackburn, it was just not meant to be

One comma in that whole 'paragraph'. Nice :p

hehe yea

o also arsenal got lucky because if you ask me bolton threw that game away, im not taking anything away from arsenal but no doubt bolton should not have lost or drawn that game :)

remember united always used to score more goals and be alot more attacking

these days united dont score as many as they should i think mostly because rooney misses so many chances

im not saying anything bad about rooney but i think he could have 15/20 goals more this season had he taken 60% of the glorious chances he has had

i think in the break rooney needs to find that goal scoring form because he does not struggle to make opportunity, he just cant finish at the moment

does contribute alot more than just scoring though which is why i love him
