Should be about 2kAnyone know what the average cost of a basic service is for the CX-5?

Thanks, you can't go wrong with a diesel auto. Brilliant motors. Extended 2 years I think it's like 7k. Motors are strong, but it's all up to you.Ah nice! I'm getting myself the 2017 Dynamic Auto pretty soon - so wanted to determine if an extended service plan was worth it (and from all the exclusions on the quote I think it's not).

Very nice, I drive petrol all my life and wanted a change. You will still get good economy from the petrol. Yeah, you don't have to worry for the next 5 years about any issues.Mine is the petrol, not a fan of diesels. Ye, the cheapest extended service plan option was around R7300. I am taking the 2 year extended warranty though, that seems like a no-brainer at R4195.

Nice man.
Saying bye to the Mazda 2?
Awesome man, welcome to the CX-5 familyYep, but staying in the family at least
Couldn't resist the allure of the CX-5, found this 2017 model with only 26k on the clock for a pretty reasonable price. The 2017 Dynamic also has the full leather seat package and other options they removed from the base Dynamic in the 2018 model.
I just bought the dynamic, the car ticks almost all the boxes, which is not bad when you consider my previous car was a merc c class.
The power initially was quite concerning but it appears to be loosening up nicely. The car likes to be revved which is something I need to get used to again.
I might be slammed for this but I feel the interior is of a much nicer feel and look than my outgoing w204 merc.
Engine noise is quite a bit more intrusive. Gearbox is infinitely more responsive. Gadgets are more modernized, similar, but less intuitive.
The cruise control is quite a disappointment, it does not brake on downhills and lets the vehicle run away.
One highlight is it notifies on SMS’s which I could only get the mercy to do when I still had a blackberry which was years ago. Voice commands are magic. Small thing but nice for me.
I'm definitely interested. I've been reading up on loading it via Mazda Tweaks but not sure what the firmware version is yet on my soon to be cx5.Has anyone managed to buy the new usb/aux hub and cables for Android Auto in SA yet?
I'm using Mazda Tweaks it works just fine. But i would love the official version just for the refinement.I'm definitely interested. I've been reading up on loading it via Mazda Tweaks but not sure what the firmware version is yet on my soon to be cx5.
How is the experience using the Mazda Tweaks option? I contemplated doing it on my Mazda 2 but it already had the nav card so didn't really need AA. I won't spend 5k on a SD card again though, it's an absolute rip off when you get maps free with AA (although the Mazda nav is not bad).I'm using Mazda Tweaks it works just fine.
