Sounds like mine. I picked up a 2017 auto a few months ago. Sweet car.Going to be looking to pick up a second hand CX-5 in the next few months. My only requirements are:
• min age 2017 (post facelift)
• leather interior (which probably means I have to look for at least the dynamic spec)
• Automatic
@current owners, anything in particular I need to look out for, like know faults, previous recalls, etc.?
Would appreciate any feedback.

I've got the 2l dynamic auto.Congrats dude.
Which trim level did you get?
Did you buy it privately or from a dealer?

I too had the engine light on my 2015 2.2D Auto Akera. Mine was to replace the oil. Dealer said the gadge was set to the US miles and the reason for the light instead of our 15k km. They just cleared the code and all good. No issues so far. I've read online that the guys with Diesel engines have your issue and seems to constantly have those issues.Well my engine oil level too high warning is back. Less than 2000km after the service
Maybe I should get rid of this thing if it’s going to be a constant battle taking it in all the time. Not happy.

Maybe be its dealer specific, friend of mine had his done when he did his 15000km service. Was at Clearwater.Wanted to get my Android Auto upgrade done with my service last week but was told I need to book that separately, so now I have to take another day to get that done![]()

Hope mine does not give me trouble as my km's are on 60k now.
Hope you can maybe trade in for a petrol version.
Have you contacted Mazda SA? Get in contact asap.200 km later, lights back on. Either Mazda fourways doesn’t know what they doing or this car is f’ed.

I need to address the slight elephant here:I think I’m going to have to, my cars now been at Mazda woodmead for over a week. They say they think it’s fault injectors or a rail? After 15000km? Seems insane.

I like to think all of them are incredibly reliable. Is yours just a mild lemon or too early to say?
