The Middle East Conflict Thread

Riyadh - A prominent Saudi cleric called in a religious edict on Sunday for attacks on Israelis everywhere in retaliation for the ongoing Israeli onslaught on the Gaza Strip.

"All (Israeli) interests, and anything else related to Israel, are a permitted target for Muslims everywhere," said Sheikh Awad al-Qarni in what he described on the internet as a fatwa, or religious edict.

"They (Israelis) should become targets. Their blood should be shed as the blood of our brothers in Palestine has been shed," he said.

"They should feel pain more than our brothers," the cleric added as Israeli air raids pounded the territory, which is controlled by the Islamist militant movement Hamas.

I probably do, Im frustrated with the opinions of the people on this thread concerning this issue, and I’m sure many people are frustrated with my opinion on this thread to.

I just think people need to care more, the suffering of people is not cool no matter who you are.

There are loads of similiar vids in Iraq and Afghanistan but as u know its usually just ac-130 spray and pray tactics :D

From some of the comments I think its Russia somewhere but nontheless I'm tempted to get the game myself. It any good?

All he had to do was stop messing the inspectors around. Unfortunately for him he banked on the usual appeasers to prevent any action being taken against him. They failed and now he's burning in hell. I guess it was some consolation to him that even after he was deposed they did their very best to undermine the war to the great benefit of the Baathists

Ja, we all wish the terrorists and suicide bombers and rocket launcher dudes would just knock it off, so the Israeli military can go home and everyone can get on with their lives.

But these idiots don't know how to sit still for five minutes.... watch they'll be blowing up something again tomorrow... if not themselves.

I meant the civil infighting only became aparant after the U.S got involved. It would never be a cakewalk but they shouldnt have Invaded anyway.

It is the responsiblty of the people, even though Saddam was evil aparantly, ther was still a sense of balance in the country and now its just a free for all.

Look at South Africa, we came to an agreement becuase the people fought for it both black and white. They said we recognise the effort that boers made to the development and infrastructer of the country and still have a right to be here. But we want equality.

Of course we have problems like crime, but at least its not Iraq, at least its not Zimbabwe.

The point the people have to be ready for change it can be forced.

I respect your post count, but actually I didn’t sense any sarcasm, sarcasm would’ve been if you would’ve told me, "Wow your really smart hey, here is a cookie"

That was just a blatant insult, and actually its not actually that I’m "highly informed" because that’s sound like a prick talking. I take an alternative to the news that’s out there,

I know, thats the logic behind a cease-fire, Ill stop but u have to stop as well. and it never works, and us siting here In S.A can never know "who started it"

Obviously people are unhapy about something and until that issue is resolved they will never stop fighting.
 
Hi I'd like to add, that I appreciate the discussion on here bar the blatant racist and inhuman statements like such as, they are squatters etc. not cool. That is madness.

my guess is the Israelis are "unhapy" about Hamas launching rockets at them..... but that is just a hunch... what do I know... uninformed as I am :rolleyes:
