The Nicholas Ninow Rape Case and Trial

Also have an issue with it now becoming a Dros issue.

The child is not the responsibility of the restaurant. I'm not absolving them completely as they had a responsibility to the child. But all the rage directed at Dros is not on. Not a single person seems to place the blame with the parent who left the kid unattended or without at least within sight...

I agree

the child minder is only there to see if the child is not destroying the stuff and the children dont get hurt

I go to panarotis and they have cameras and stuff but we never leave the little one alone .

Legally he needs to appear and plead in court first. Not sure why that's taking so long, but after that his identity is public.

Well aware of that. And it's the reason I'm pretty annoyed with it turning into a race thing now. Even if the dude was black he would still not have been named...

Hypothetically, if the victim was an adult, would there still be outrage over Dros's inability to prevent it?

he appeared in court on tuesday already ...
I haven't followed it that closely, but haven't seen that and his identity reported in the news which is kinda strange. It is all sensationalism and very little facts.

The rape just occurred recently. To put it into perspective it took well over a year for Collan Rex to plead in court.

The media sometimes (at court's request) refrain from naming suspects when the victim is a minor. But yes one of the articles here does state that he appeared and the case has been remanded

Why is black twitter involved? Only whites are involved....

It's like when one Indian said "'n Boer maak 'n plan, 'n Indier word gebore met een", and some black people were in uproar because it apparently discredits them due to exclusion. I think that was like 10-15 years ago. They have to show their inner racist whenever a chance arises.

I quite agree, the safety of children is ultimately the responsibility of parents/caregivers.

I don't know what more Dros could have done. The only thing they could actually do is get rid of the child play areas as they are a target for these people.

The lesson people need to take from this is that it isn't anyone else's responsibility to look after your child than your own. I just hope some parents read this story and learn from these poor victims.
