Have the stuck on permanent loading screen problem. Sucks as I wanted to play a bit.

Mine did that a few times and then sorted itself out :/


The lag on these local servers is pretty bad :/ seems to be whenever the server has over 40 people on it...

I've tried everything suggested that I could see, there's a 100 page thread about this issue consisting of many unhappy people, granted it is beta so I didn't expect much.
 
im still getting lots of lag ... and honestly i dont see myself moving to win8.1 any time soon!
 
To the guys with lower spec pc's:
How are you guys experiencing the loading times between matches?

My computer is not a spring chicken anymore but loading times were fine in battlefield 3, bf4 it's unbearable.

This is correct.... I incorrectly assumed the commander was the only one able to point objectives out... could get confusing with a squad leader and commander having differing opinions though :D

I've had this once or twice. My main bug bear is I randomly don't get the Deploy map overlay on death. Have to hit Esc then click resume to bring it up. In domination I die a bit, so that is a pain in the ass :p

Other than that I'm enjoying it. My specs are still as per my sig and the game runs well, just go through the odd rubber banding periods. This is more an issue when flying.........

On that note, I find flying to still be entertaining. I do however, not understand the folk that use the attack chopper as a parachute launcher! I am trying to get my skill up in it and merrily watch one fly overhead with the person ejecting when they reach a capture point. I know everyone plays the game their own way, but give those that actually FLY the thing a chance.

not that bad loading times are good ... its just ingame play that seems to be filled with lots of lag

Yeah I'm having the exact opposite, driving me nuts.

Anybody played BF4 at rAge this past weekend? I thought it felt really good albeit a bit different, visuals are absolutely stunning.

I remember back with Battlefield 2, the squad leader had the option whether to accept and relay the orders of the commander or ignore them and do his own thing.

A nice change to see the commander feature returning.
 
Tried it but my freezing loading problem hasn't gone away.

Has anyone with a dual core CPU been able to play?

Is your game just loading loading loading? Try installing punkbuster - I had this problem and punkbuster installation seems to have fixed it.
 
It loads and then freezes and I have to end the process manually.

Manually updated Punkbuster.
Updated/Repaired BF4 game.
Reinstalled the C++ stuff.
Disabled anti-virus.
Reinstalled DirectX
Reinstalled sound drivrs.
Updated drivers to latest version.

Can't recall what else I did but basically everything that was suggested.

Seems it's possibly an issue with dual core processors.
 
Does anyone know if servers are guaranteed for ZA coz I would prefer not to play on some UK server with a nearly playable 160ms
