Surely the game only unlocks on the 1st? (thats what it says in Origin at least)

VPN gets around it, happened for BF3 too, just makes Origin think you're in Korean or US. But only need it for an activation on load, so you can disconnect after you've joined a server and exit for the first time, but this is needed every time you quit Origin and start again.

But local servers are already online, had 5 of us jamming on one, would be cool for more

Yup, as stated by BaronZA.

It's safe, we all did it for BF3 and you dont enter any Origin login details since you open Origin, THEN VPN, then run bf4\battlelog, then disconnect\close VPN, poof, BF4 is playable along with the rest of the world. SA Servers are up, seen a few guys on and off.

Oh yeah for PC if you wanna jam campaign too, the steps are the same, just whack campaign.

This is good, I started a normal preload today and it started where my "vpn" preload left off

Can someone please help. I connect to a US VPN and I can see the game as being available, but where do I download it? It wants me to buy it again....

It simply shows me "Get the Game" on the top banner...

This is literally the first game I buy from Origin.

You don't need to connect to vpn anymore. Close the vpn, the restart the origin client if you have it installed. The click on your game in the My Games tab and check if there is a pre-load option.

That is if you can see battlefield in the my games tab in the origin client

Been trying to download since Sunday, so I was @ 80% when the SA preload opened today

Another thing, with the beta my origin client did not keep the game install, even though I had that option selected. Anyone know why?

bf4 stop working seems to randomly get it when i press deploy.
