W...T...F...? You're worse than the British tabloids, honestly. You base your opinion on one round of fixtures? City aren't "looking good" - the mere fact they they played ultra-defence against Chelsea might be excusable, but if pulls that s#it with any other team (barring of course United and Arsenal) then he will be torn a new one. I reckon they have looked good until now, they just didn't have the right mentality - and their next game isn't gonna be Chelsea and it probably isn't at home so I wouldn't get too far ahead with predictions - either way.

Dude they did this last year. not too fazed. we'll see City's next few results to see if they're good.

Is Smokey sick?

Where is Smokey? He has not posted in 2 and half days! Some of the threads are beginning to die :wtf:

To see if they're consistent. Big difference. Everyone knows they are good, they're just not consistently good. :)

I stand by what I said. Consider that City is unbeaten gainest their rivals for Champions league positions (beating Chelsea and Liverpool and drawing at Spurs) so far that puts them in good a position.

Yeah well... Pre-Abramovich Chelsea had that same problem. Great records against United/Arsenal/Liverpool, poor records against the smaller teams.

OK, quick question...

So after the weekend's results... do Arsenal and Tottenham fans still think Chelsea had an easy start to the season? :D

Ja they did - how do you think they got 15 points from five games and 21 goals..

There's a reason I asked spuds/arse supporters and not you hippy.

Anyway... I think it's grossly unfair that Chelsea have to play two French teams who have beef with Anelka in the space of a few days. It's not right I tell you.

Re: the start

Dear etc etc

Arsenal lost to WBA, Tottenham to some other team we beat in the first five games. Which is why I aimed my words at them. Well done on your draws at Fulham and Birmingham(? not sure if it was Birm).

Yours etc etc
