*****! There are so many on that site - I had no idea which one to get. In the end I took the R4 revolution 3 for about R170. I got the ace 2 card last week and it works fine as well.

I ordered a trigram screwdriver to fix my DS with and another M3 DS real from them.
Still waiting though coz they busy ordering from the supplier.

Grav3. You will have to copy some files onto the memory card. With my acekard2 I had to download it from their website. I think this is the case with most of these cards. Once you've copied the files to the card, you just add the roms and the fun starts.... Enjoy

Grumpy talks the truth. You'll just have to copy the system files(download from site or maybe you'll get a CD) and then your Roms, music, video's etc, and enjoy.

And the truth he did spoke. I downloaded the latest kernel files on the r4 website and got some tutorials on youtube. thanks a bunch guys. It's easier than it looks lol!
Btw i bought my r4 from extremeshop on the 22nd of feb and paid for it on the 25th. Anyone have an idea when i can expect my "R4" Deluxe MicroSD/TF Card?

With my order they started procesing with the supplier on the 03/02/09.
I'm still waiting. But they say in their FAQ that ordering takes anything between 2-6 weeks.

Not really true hey. I ordered my M3 from a guy on gumtree. Got it within a 12 days. He asks that you pay the cash into his account and then orders it for you. I've chatted with him on his cell and found him reliable. I've only ordered once from extremeshop. Never try and order from an online company that orders from China in the months of January/February. It's the chinese new years celebrations etc. So the orders will be delayed major! Other than that, my experience with extremeshop has been a pleasure. I also look to see what online shops reputations are like by visiting Hellopeter.com. 2 complaints, 2 compliments. Make your own decision
BGR however I found that they were not so friendly when I emailed them. If you can't be courtious and friendly to your clients, you shouldn't be in business.
My employer ordered his M3 from an online company in the US, got his also within 12 days. So, like extremeshop's FAQ says, when you order, be patient!!!! 3-6 weeks!
Word of advise as well when using your Cards, use a known Micro SD card. I've used an unbranded card, some games wouldn't load at all. Then I plonked my Kingston into my card, and all was well.
Damn thing is addictive! I haven't touched my other consoles for a long time!

Are you referring to the DS lite or the DS?
I bought my DS 2nd hand. Apart from the guy admitting to dropping it a few times (noticing all the scratches and dents), the DS is damn sturdy. I am going to replace my full housing this week (from silver to metallic blue!
). My reason for that, I like the colour blue and I am gatvol of all the damn scratches on the cover! Ordered a nice soft pouch and a new set of stylus's. Can't wait to slap the new case on!
As for dead pixels, DS won't have such bad luck. I can't vouch for the DS lites though. Any comments from the other members?

What I would love to see in South Africa is the 1Seg Tv Tuner for the DS. I've seen them on Japanese sites. Wish I could get my hands on one. But from what I've read, those damn things will only work in Japan... due to (and I stand to be corrected) 1Seg signals is only available in Japan??! BUMMER!
I wanted to send Extremeshop a request, but I might just ask my buddy whom I got the M3 from to get hold of one anyways... just to have it!
