Isn't AcornTv better? About the only 'brit box' I have used.

Dunno, not really looked, suspect it is six of one and a half dozen of the other, much of a muchness. One might have a show you like and the other not, and a lot of the same.

My Wife, is Afrikaans, and is more than happy, with what is on the Mi-Box in the lounge. Not worried about Brit shows, till she finds a mate, who keeps chatting about what is on BritBox or Acorn, then I will get to hear about it.

All working - for pretty much the whole of last year it had no APK - so glad it finally has Shield support.
I could do Plex + download etc, but for some shows it's nice for her to just click --> watch --> not ask me anything

I hate the "Liefie, kom help gou hier ek sukkel met .... " story. I don't wanna know.
It is not that difficult to find what you want to watch, and it is also not difficult to keep track of which service, and channel something you watch is on.

I made the mistake of installing it, subbing for trial and showing it to the SO. You just wanna waste time, then play Android games ...
You can run a Plex server on it but I wouldn't. Run the server elsewhere.
Streaming on it is an utter pleasure
